The Bangalow's around the pool are amazing. Very spacious and clean. The pool area is lovely, very well maintained. One little word of caution though, tiles around the pool are quite slippery. The staff are nice and do their best to help you. Breakfast has a reasonable selection of food.and very good. The food in their restaurant is lovely, quite a big choice on the menu. We also liked the location as it's in between the top attractions so you really don't have a lot ng drive to anywhere.

It was bit far from sunset town, but we only needed 1 day to visit there so ok.

The pool was always clean and maintained, the staff are very attentive. Breakfast had many different options and was changing every day. The beds were comfy and spacious bathroom. There is beach in 5 min walking distance. The airport transfer was also big plus. Also for dinner the restaurant had very tasty and good priced meals, pork banh mi is a must try :)

The food in the restaurant in the evening was not very nice. Okrded a clay pot pork dish that was like rubber and the burger was dry and like eating cardboard! Breakfast was very good though. I think it was just lack of customers in the evening so not all food was prepared and cooked for as long or as well as it should have been.

A wonderful hotel. Many thanks to all the staff who made our holiday excellent and unforgettable! The location is very convenient: 5–7 minutes to the beach via another large hotel, 10 minutes to local cafés and 15 minutes to mini stalls and fruit stands. Yes, it's a bit dark in the evening, but it's not a long walk and it's actually safe. A lot of hotels are being built in the area now, so perhaps it will be brighter by next season. The territory and service are excellent: the territory is very compact and green. I recommend taking rooms with a view of the pool because then you will only have one other room as a neighbour. However, the building behind the two-room houses has one title for eight rooms, so you will be more 'dependent' on the quietness of your neighbours. We used the laundry service once and found it excellent value for money — they brought us clean clothes within 4–5 hours on the same day. We also went to their spa twice and had back and shoulder massages, as well as deep tissue massages, which were also very good. It was much better than the salons outside the hotel. I tried the massage there twice and it was relaxing, but it didn't work on the deep muscles. They give you a 10% discount durWe also took a taxi from the hotel to the nearest town for a walk, which cost 150,000 dongs. It was a great price, and very easy and convenient. We also had lunch at our hotel. First, of course, we tried the nearby cafés, but, having seen the level of hygiene and the rats, we only ate in two places: lunch at our hotel and dinner at a family café 10 minutes' walk away (Streamside). The prices aren't that different. Alcoholic drinks are really expensive though, and they also give a 10% discount every day on everything. You can pay by card (Visa, Amex or Mastercard). They also changed the towels and swept the sand in the room every day, and put two small bottles of water out. The service was very ping the daytime.

Nothing, I would rate the resort 10/10!

Kingo Retreat is a wonderful resort, and I will definitely stay there again if I return to Phu Quoc! The place is beautiful, clean, modern, the rooms are large and tastefully decorated, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet consists of delicious fresh food, with a wide variety of dishes, and being a vegetarian I was delighted that they offered such a range of fresh fruit and vegetables. The pool is clean, and the whole place is quiet and relaxing. I also appreciated the inclusion of free pick up and drop off to to and from the airport. I honestly cannot recommend this resort highly enough!

Perfect stay – highly recommended! We had a wonderful time at Kingo Retreat Resort. The accommodation and the whole environment were absolutely beautiful and relaxing. The staff was extremely helpful and kind throughout our stay. Both the breakfast and the food from the menu were delicious. We rented a scooter directly from the resort, which was very convenient. The airport pickup and drop-off went smoothly without any issues. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay in Phu Quoc!

Breakfast is super. Very delicious and so many various. Lunch and dinner from the restaurant are very good. Room is clean and spacious. The minus is only the location that so far from tourist spot, we should take a grab car to go everywhere. But if you looking for a quite and peace place this is the right place.

I have been in Vietnam for 45 days, and in Thailand for 45 days in numerous hotels also 4 stars hotels.. I can say that "Kingo Retreat" is the best one I have been in. From the wonderful staff, always smiling, welcoming, helping and caring, to the best breakfast we had!! Rina restaurant is open from the morning until 20:00 for a tasty and not so expensive lunch or dinner. Clean rooms, comfortable, good and hot shower, beautiful flower gardens, the pool is in the middle of this paradise! 5-7 minutes from the beach. Restaurants 5-7 minutes walk, tasty food! Although it is 5-7 km from the city, but the hotel rent scooters for those who can/want to. We are 64 years old and we rented a scooter for our stay, Easy to drive. The hotel helps to find a taxi for that matter, not an expensive one. For me, 10 is not enough grade! Waiting to return very soon!!❤️

The track from the hotel to the beach is poorly lit, making walks back from beach restaurants at night slightly uncomfortable due to barking dogs, though they are safely behind gates. Adding a few lights would greatly improve the experience.

The property had a beautiful decor and a well-thought-out setup. They provided a cot for our six-month-old, and there was plenty of space for our baby gear and multiple suitcases. We appreciated the thoughtful touch of a candle and mosquito-repelling oil—mosquitoes are naturally present in the area, so this was a helpful addition. The shower was excellent, with a designated spot to rinse your feet after a trip to the pool or beach. The location is just a six-minute walk from the beach, accessible via a short track that is easy to navigate during the day and late afternoon. The resort’s restaurant was very accommodating, providing a high chair and ensuring a comfortable dining experience for us with a baby. The fresh fruit at breakfast was outstanding, and I highly recommend trying the Vietnamese dishes—after all, you’re in Vietnam, so why not embrace something different from your usual Western breakfast?

Fabulous stay at this small resort. We just loved it. Exceptionally clean, wonderful helpful staff. Would highly recommend. It is away from the main town which we liked. There were a number of great places to eat all within walking distance of Kingo. Streamside restaurant and a couple of others along that road. And also in the other direction the Tree House Ong Lang (highly recommend) Staff were helpful in booking the cable car tickets for us - meant we just walked through entrance and straight on to cable car - just get a taxi there - its much easier and worth the trip. If you want a few days of relaxing by the pool and eating out at some great places then this is the place.

The property is like a little oasis set in lovely grounds with plenty of sun beds around the pool for relaxing. Without exception the staff were all friendly, polite and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay perfect. The variety and choice at breakfast set us up for the day. We also used the on site restaurant in the evening which had lovely freshly cooked food and a nice ambiance.
