Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Kiki Coconut Beach is in a fantastic location, on the quiet eastern beach of Phu Quoc although it is an easy drive to shopping, attractions, restaurants, and nightlife. Jamie is the heartbeat of the resort and is so wonderful. He offered great suggestions of things to do around the island and quickly and easily arranged scooters for us to explore the island. His staff are extraordinary, too. The relaxed vibe at Kiki Coconut Beach is precisely what we were looking for. And the food? Jamie provides multiple selections of vegetarian/vegan dishes that we never grew bored with the menu. I highly recommend Kiki Coconut Beach and will definitely return!

United KingdomWe were welcomed by Jamie and immdiately fell in love with the place. Our room was a good size and had everything we needed including a fridge, plus a free water dispenser! The food and drinks were all fab and good prices, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We pretty much chilled on the beach for most of our four days there where there were lots of sunbeds and hamocks. The whole place had a lovely laid back feeling and we will definitely visit again. We also took a walk to Rory's bar to play crazy golf which was a nice little trip out.

Kiki Coconut is an absolute gem—a true island retreat that captures the essence of relaxation. The setting is unique, with bungalows set directly on the beach, offering beautiful ocean views and the sound of waves just a few steps away from your door. What truly makes this place special, though, is the warmth and hospitality of Jamie and his staff. They go out of their way to make you feel like part of their home, creating an atmosphere that is both welcoming and laid-back. Whether it's sharing local tips, helping with anything you need, or just chatting over a drink, their kindness adds so much to the experience. If you're looking for a peaceful escape where you can truly unwind and soak in the beauty of the island, Kiki Coconut is the perfect spot.

NetherlandsWhen choosing this resort, keep in mind that it is quite secluded. There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance, so your dining options are limited to the resort unless you rent a motorbike or rely on taxis to explore the area.
The owner of the resort truly embodies the spirit of hospitality. He's incredibly welcoming and friendly! The resort itself lived up to the photos perfectly. It's small and cozy with only 4 beach bungalows rented out, a far cry from mass tourism. The beach bungalow had a large potable water tank, so I had unlimited free water. I enjoyed the beautiful sea views, the peace and quiet, the abundance of loungebeds on the beach, and the restaurant with its delicious food. The breakfast was excellent, included in the room rate, and offered a choice of six Western and Asian dishes. The portions were generous, and the food was amazing. The sea level was quite low during my stay, which made swimming a bit challenging for adults. It would be perfect for children though.

United KingdomA slice of paradise! So beautiful, so peaceful, so laid back - like all of Phu Quoc used to be. Jamie is an incredible host, nothing is too much trouble. Laundry, moped hire, airport taxi… We spent 4 days here over Christmas and didn’t want to leave. The (free for residents!) hog roast on Christmas Day was a wonderful surprise, and the free bar - Jamie, you shouldn’t have 😜 If you go to Phu Quoc, I urge you…don’t stay anywhere else!!!

We finished out 6 week trip though Vietnam here and are so glad that we did. We loved everything about Kiki Coconut. It was so peaceful and a real palm tree beach location. With only four bungalows we had the full attention of Jamie and his wonderful staff. The food here was the best that we had across Vietnam and the bar well stocked. Our room was large and clean. The bed comfortable and aircon welcome. A real bonus find on the quiet side of the island. Perfect to kick back and relax.

ChinaIt is right on the beach, organic looking with hammocks and swings hanging on the coconut trees and lounge benches by the ocean. It’s well shaded if you enjoy the sunny beach without umbrellas. All bungalows are in front of the ocean, simple but with all your basic needs covered. Bed is super comfortable, air-con, hot water and mosquito nets are all functional. There is nothing fancy or luxurious here but it is simply a piece of heaven in the original form… so rare to find these days. Owner Jamie is genuinely kind, warm, well informed and hardworking. He was right there when we need him and he found us the best deals on scooter, massage and taxi rides. We will be back!

United KingdomLovely quiet bit of paradise on the less developed side of the island. Jamie is a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. It's a great spot to unwind, eat good food and sink some cold beers. The kitchen serves really tasty dishes from traditional Vietnamese to more Western classics. My wife and I had grand plans for exploring everything on the island but Kiki was so nice, we mostly stayed there. Serious hammock time! And do book a massage - best ever!

PolandJamie's resort was really a perfect choice for us for our stay on Phu Quoc. Firstly, again warmest thanks to Jamie who is the best host and he lives up to all of the great reviews you are probably reading. His resort is a perfect place to unwind after so much travelling. Bungalows were very nice, clean and spacious; in general the whole resort was very calm and it made us feel truly at home. The beach was very nice with shallow water, I think it would be amazing especially for families with kids, cause the shallow water goes for a very very long time (apparently on the east side of the island there are more shallow waters and on the western a bit deeper) For breakfast there was a very nice choice of served dishes and for lunch and dinner we were very happy to order some Western cuisine, which missed a lot. We also received tons of recommendations what to do around Phu Quoc which made our trip even more special.

VietnamJamie and his staff has welcomed us in their little paradise. We loved the calm and quite beach to escape the noisy city. On the beach there is enough space with hammocks and a lot of shadow places. Also the rooms are clean and we liked that there is plenty of free water in the room.
