How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The room was quite clean, except my room has the Bathroom outside, but the villa notice me before that.
Cozy home with a small garden. The staff (chi Hieu) was amazing and supportive as well as the guard.

I loved how friendly and hospitable the host Kathy is as well as how quaint and clean the rooms were. The rooms are so well decorated and cozy. Kathy is amazing and will give you many ideas for activities, food recommendations, and trusted tailors. She is incredible and makes you feel at home! I will stay here again when I visit Vietnam in the future. ☺️

Firstly, Hannh and I think ,Joanne, were absolutely genuinely friendly and helpful in a very easy going manner. They both have excellent people skills. After that the bedroom was spacious with a super comfy soft bed and the balcony is shaded with beautiful trees that make music while you sleep! I highly recommend it and I will definitely return. Thank you all for your hospitality and kindness 🙏😊

We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed it! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and we felt very comfortable. What we really like was that they had free bike rental (have enough bikes for everyone) as we LOVED exploring the town, the rice fields and the nearby beaches by bike! The location is very good aswell as you reach everything very easily by bike! They also offer a shuttle bus and cooking classes! Would highly recommend this property!

That we didn’t stay longer!
Amazing facilities and attention to detail was spectacular. Jolie and her colleagues were exceptional hosts and so kind from the minute we walked in. Value for money is great, 100% worth the stay. Would recommend anyone staying in Hoi An to stay here. The free bicycles costumers was a lovely touch too!

Really enjoyed my stay!! Kathy made it very spacial, she was always helpful and making sure I was comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, the rooms spacious. It’s a bit further away from the old town but the neighbourhood is quiet and you can bike everywhere. Short ride to the rice fields, old town and beach (actually perfect location). Highly recommend!

The room is humid, like in most of Vietnamese hotels. There is no mosquito net.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff who helped us book a great trip to My Son and a bus to HCMC. Spacious and clean room and free bikes that were always available.

Nice home stay in Hoi An. It's a little removed from the core of tourist area by the river making it more relaxing and quite. There are free bikes to use and explore the area which is convenient. I also organized a taxi from Da Nang through the home stay which was cheaper than a Grab. The room I originally booked was unavailable due to a sick guest, but was given a quad room instead. Overall it was a pleasant stay and wouldn't hesitate to come again.

Really great location, everything closely accessible by free provided bikes. Comfortable beds, best breakfast we had so far. It's easy to arrange a basket boat or airport transfer for a great price.

The best place I’ve been in Vietnam ! Amazing and welcoming host, you feel a bit home ! It’s a very good value for money, the room are clean and well designed and it’s very quiet compared to the busy center.

I had a great stay here. The staff were so friendly and it was well located in a quiet neighbourhood. The room was very comfortable and well designed and the bed was comfortable. They were very proactive on my onwards travel plans and even helped me locate my missing sunglasses 😎. Thoroughly recommended.
