How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AC in the room did not manage to maintain comfortable temperature in the room. Otherwise very clean and comfy room
Receptionists were exceptionally helpful and gracious. They helped us to plan sightseeing and activities in the city and supported at each step of our stay in Hue

There are a couple of things I look for in a hotel when holidaying, clean which the serene was, good breakfasts and the hotel provided a simple but excellent quality breakfast with a selection of fruits, good coffee and various egg dishes accompanied by the usual accompaniments. Step out of the front door and you are in the thick of it and left and left your across from the lake.

The location of the hotel was in close proximity to everything. The staff were amazing and super nice. Always assisted me if I needed something.

Room cleanliness could be improved, too many toppers made beds too soft and warm (personal opinion)
Good location downtown, motorbike rental in front, very kind staff especially Celine and restaurant girls. Comfortable accommodation for requested price.

The staff were amazing. The doormen, Sarah at reception & su su & Henry at breakfast were all so lovely. The bed was the best-so comfortable. Perfect location for us. Short walk from the bus stop. We ate at madam Trang which was great local food.

As we mentioned to the staff, the structure is quite old, so an extra effort on cleanliness is required to make the rooms and common spaces look shining!
Nice room with terrasse in a small quiet street (crucial in Hue!). Cosy room with confortable bed, efficient A/C, central location close to River dragon boat departure station and many restaurants nearby. Good breakfast with some sweet options Very friendly staff always trying to help you. Would definitely return!

Some Staff are not friendly-when coming back to hotel ,they just watch mobile.also sofa is used for sleeping at front staff in the morning,it's disgusting

The hotel is well located in the city centre, the stuff was super friendly and available to accommodate all our requests, especially Kelly who was very nice in arranging us also private transport to Danang. I would definitely recommend this place.

While we unfortunately only stayed one night the room was very comfortable and the service from staff was great. Would definitely stay here again in the future if we come back to Hue.

The staff here are some of the most accommodating people we have ever experienced at a hotel. The service was phenomenal and nothing seemed like too much trouble. We arrived early due to our train getting in early, and they allowed us to get to our room earlier than planned. The staff remember who you are and show an interest in your day. We especially would like to thank Sarah for helping us book our DMZ experience and informing us of the city. Would recommend this hotel again and again just for the service!

The room was very clean, but furniture and finishings showed signs of old age. It did not impact our stay in any way, so this is a suggestion for future improvement more than a real con.
Just 1 night stay. Good position and very friendly staff (Ms. Sarah was an outstanding host). Very high value for money, as the room provided a lot of space and a very big bathroom. Very good breakfast.

This is swish, clean and the staff will do anything for you. We had a sleeper train for Hanoi to catch. Staff looked after our bags, gave us extra toilet and shower facilities so we could go out for excursions in the day and gave us plenty of recommendations for eating, drinking and touristing! They were just exceptional and could not do enough. They also spoke excellent English and understood my nuanced jokes! Rooms are tastefully decorated and the air con is heaven! I have stayed in very expensive hotels in Europe, claiming to be 4 star which would not touch this!

Paint work in the room was cracking and wall was not even. Shower over the bath was a little hard to get into and out. It needs a handrail on wall to get in and out.
All staff were amazing!!! Sarah was just one of the many staff members that was truly impressive. She was always there to assist in any way she could.

Room was not soundproofed with very noisy clients next to us. Not ideal in the morning and late at night.
Staff very helpful and attentionate. Room spacious and clean. Breakfast more than ok.
