How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Bright, clean room in a peaceful, quiet location—easily accessible by bike or scooter but away from the busy crowds. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Very nice room with balcony, clean, simple and very comfortable. Hosts are the best, you can rent scooter or book tours to visit sites around. Quiet neighborhood with lot of local food. Near to Hoi An old city and to Ang Bang beach. Recommend!

The hosts were really welcoming and helpful !! Room is specious and very clean! They provide free bicycles to use around the city and also motorbike for 120.000vnd ( around 5$ ) for whole day which we rented and took a day trip to Danang . They offer different tours to attractions around Hoi An and Danang. The location is 20min by walk and 5min by car ( 21.000vnd / 1$ - grab price ) from center of Hoi An . Overall experience was amazing, HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!

Very nice and helpful staff ! Free bicycles to cycle around. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are big! All in all a very nice stay. I would recommend it :)

A proper wardrobe would be nice. Shared bikes could use some maintenance, but they are free, so can’t complain.
Clean, quiet, well equipped with a well maintained pool, a very good aircon and real hot water (not the solar thing that’s always empty when you actually want a hot shower). Comfortable bed. Welcoming staff. Good location with everything you need in walking distance, and a short ride to both the old town and the beach.

The room was clean and spacious, and the pool was cool and refreshing. Thuy and her family were amazing! They went out of their way to help us and to ensure we had a great time in Hoi An. If I'm ever back in the country I will be coming here again.

The property was a little far away from the actual town
The hosts were very helpful and pleasant at all times. The place was clean and welcoming, having a pool was a major bonus too

This homestay was amazing, the family were so kind to us they couldn’t do enough for us organised tours helped us with transport even came and collected us when one of our bikes broke.

the staff were so friendly and helpful. breakfast was delicious. the pool was lovely, nice and cool. free bikes were great and only a 30 min walk/10 min bike to the old town. super clean and spacious room too.

It was quite outside of the old town but could get a grab or walk.
Lovely little homestay, breakfast was available and was lovely! The staff were so helpful booking us tours and helping us plan our next part of the trip. Beds were comfortable and very clean rooms.

The pool was great, people were so nice. The fact they had bikes to get to downtown Hoi An in 15 minutes was perfect. Don’t forget to visit the owner’s tailor shop. We got a lot of super cute clothes at an amazing price. I highly recommend this place.

Very attentive staff without being too pushy. Helped us to arrange an excellent visit to Cham Island and organised a pick up from Danang airport at a rate cheaper than on Grab. Wifi worked really well - I had to work for a day while I was there and no problem with video calls. Really big, clean and comfortable rooms, swimming pool was a bonus!

absolutely nothing!!
we are 3 months into our trip, stayed at countless different accommodations and this was by far our favourite place to stay. We were met with smiles from the beginning and the women were more than helpful. The rooms were lovely, clean and spacious. The pool was clean and refreshing. Access to bikes to take into the centre of Hoi An. To finish, it was incredible value! We will absolutely come back!

Wonderful homestay with really helpful staff, delicious breakfast and good recommendations of tours and what to do around the area. Also bicycles included to explore and family have a tailor in town which did such an excellent job I went back for more. Is about a 15 min walk from old town which I didn’t mind but worth keeping in mind if you want to be in the centre
