Great breakfast, great location, great hosts

We arrived early in the morning after taking the sleeper bus from Hanoi. Even though we were hours before check in, we were allowed to leave our luggage in the hotel and offered a welcome drink. We then went and got breakfast somewhere close by and then were able to check in earlier than the expected time. The staff were so helpful and friendly - they recommended an amazing tour of Bach Ma National Park and organised our ongoing journey to Hoi An. We ended up staying an extra night and that was no problem for them. The breakfast was a good choice and my two boys loved the banana pancakes and hot chocolate for breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring the city of Hue and for enjoying the entertainment at night as it’s within walking distance to the imperial city and river and it is close by to the main nightlife. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely staff, my room was upgraded which was fantastic as I had not realised I had booked a room with no window, for the price including breakfast found it was good value.

The bed was a little hard, the rooms are pretty old, but for the Price, it is absolutely ok!

The owner was really helpful and organized some trips for us. The area around the hotel is great, many restaurants!

The staff was so welcoming and caring. The room was very clean and comfortable. There's an elevator, although small, which is always appreciated. Location is great but still stays quiet. Lovely place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our several-day stay at the Hong Thien Ruby Hotel. The location is outstanding, right off a lively street near the river with plentiful restaurants and shopping, but at the end of a peaceful alley. The owner graciously arranged transportation for us from the airport and then a personal escort from a main street because the smaller street was closed to traffic on the weekends. There are a number of vegetarian/vegan restaurants in the area, and Ruby Hotel provided ample choices and basically all you can eat for breakfast. The rooms are spacious with plenty of hot water and toiletries. I highly recommend Hong Thien Ruby Hotel!

Hotel location was excellent — close to bars and restaurants but tucked away from the main street, so it was nice and quiet at night. Around 30min walk from Imperial city. The room was spacious and comfortable, though a bit outdated, but for the price, it was definitely worth it. Breakfast was good as well. They offered a small menu to order from, and the food was good. Overall, a great value for money!

The wifi was not as strong as it could be in our room but fine in the lobby.

The husband and wife team at reception are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the many options for breakfast, cooked when you order what you want. They accommodated my gluten free dietary needs very well. The room was nice and clean, and well appointed. Great location just off the busy pedestrian street (on weekends) with lots of restaurants and shops, but quiet since it’s half a block down an alley.

WiFi could be better and one of the bed matrices called for a change, but perfectly fine for our 3 days stay.

The very hospitable and kind hosts of this little hotel is a reason for itself to stay there. It is located in the "happening" area of the city but in a small alley at the back to avoid most of the noise. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast very good and you can arrange excursions directly from the hotel.

Location of the Hotel is in center of the walking street The Receptionist Mam "Duong Thi Kieu Trinh" is the best person and she is really pleasing personality and always helps. Rooms are good and cozy Morning Breakfast is excellent.

Everything. The little things were really appreciated e.g. welcome drink, map, ideas for excursions and restaurants ( including vegetarian options) but not in a pushy way. We took a one day city tour through them. We don't usually take organised tours but the value for money made it an exceptional day out. The breakfast was freshly served at the table, plentiful ( you could select multiple items off the menu) and delicious. The coffee, fresh juice, pancakes and eggs were wonderful. The room was older style for our taste but was clean and spacious. There was a lift and the hotel is very quiet being located down a quiet, safe alleyway.

The staff is amazing and very helpful. They gave us fruit(amazing) and welcome drinks, helped us rent motorbikes, booked transfer, and with laundry. Breakfast was also very good. Great location and great value money-quality. The room was spacious and very clean, not very modern, but there is everything needed.

We loved this hotel. We were treated very well and felt very respected.

This property was down a side street but just off main road where all bars and restaurants were. The hotel and rooms were clean and rooms made up daily with fresh towels etc and consumables replaced without asking. The staff went above and beyond in our opinion. We had half day travelling as our precious hotel manager drove us from Phong Nha to Hue. It’s took about 5 hours and we were lost at one point!!! When we arrived we were met with a smile, a cup of tea or coffee and a plate of local fruit which was a lovely touch. The gentleman (didn’t get his name), then sat with us to explain where we were to everything and what excursions were available. They were more than happy to arrange taxis, booked two full day excursions (tour of the imperial city and DMZ) and dealt with anything else we needed. Breakfast was very nice and had the best fresh rolls with our omelette, tea/coffee and fruit juices. Lady who also ran hotel greeted us every morning and most evenings with a smile, asked how things had gone and was generally interested in how our day went etc. Unfortunately when we left, they wouldn’t take a tip! She said if we were happy and could write review, that was more than enough.
