It's a family run homestay and they are very welcoming and helpful. Especially Hoang is very helpful with everything you need such as tours or pick up from Da Nang etc. Room is very spacious. Hotel is very close to the old town and the popular area just a few minutes by walking. They also have 3 little girls living there. I really enjoyed having some English class with them and playing games. They are so friendly and fun. Don't hesitate to say hi to them.

My stay at Dong Nguyen Riverside Homestay was truly delightful. The room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and clean linens. The location is great, just a 15-minute walk from the center of Hoi An. What really made the difference, though, was the kindness of the host and his whole family. They welcomed me into their home with warmth and friendliness, offering great tips to help me make the most of my time in Hoi An. And I can't forget the delicious breakfast each morning, especially the omelette, shared in the lovely company of his three wonderful daughters. I highly recommend this place!

The riverside homestay was brilliant. The room was so big and spacious with a very comfy bed. The host was so kind and recommended lots of things for me to do and they were definitely things worth doing! The location is great as it's very easy to access so many places in Hoi An from the home stay either by bike or grab. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Hoi An!

The shower was a little bit weak and a Kettle in the Room would be Great!!! But these are just small things! I REALLY Enjoyed my Stay here. It really did feel like a Home from Home 😁

Excellent place!!! Away from the Hustle and Bustle but yet only 5-10 mins walk to Bars, Restaurants, Cafe and the Old Town 🙂. The Owners and their Daughters were Incredibly welcoming and Helpful. The Room was perfect for my needs. A good size, Incredibly Comfortable Large bed, fridge, Table and Chairs. Shower and Toilet! Opposite a Quiet stretch of the River. Thank you very much!!! I will definitely Stay here again if I come back to Vietnam!!! Great WiFi too ✌️🤗

Everything was just perfect! Very kind and helpful. We rented bikes, we booked a tour and a private car to Da Nang airport. Location is perfect, close to the old town but quiet and peaceful.

We loved staying here with Phuoc & her lovely family. They all were so friendly, welcoming and generous. The location is peaceful and quiet but a short walk to the busy areas. She gave us many good recommendations for food and tailoring. They can book many tours for you too. We loved the bike rental, laundry and other amenities. Most of all, we just loved getting to know the family. 😊 we really hope we can come back here and stay again!! Thank you so much!

It’s not a luxury hotel, but you’re not paying luxury prices. It’s a very quaint, basic place with such charm and truly an amazing family running it. Need to bring your own toiletries, and carry your own luggage and the room doesn’t get cleaned during the day, but again for the price - the WiFi is good the AC works great and it’s a really great location

I heard about the place from solo woman traveler who said she felt good and safe there - I was there alone too and can attest it was such a charming a nice place. The family that runs it is amazing and so helpful the location is great. I rented a bicycle for cheap and they gave greet recs for food and a tailor in town

Everything! We were so welcomed. Arrived very early due to sleeper but but allowed to take a shower and leave our bags before the room was ready. There was laundry service on site and if you needed to book a tour/scooter, this was also available on sight. The homestay had everything we needed. Could not recommend it more. We even wanted to stay an extra night but our itinerary wouldn’t allow it. Cannot recommend it more. The host and her family were just so lovely.

We could not recommended this place highly enough, the family who own the home stay are so welcoming and helped us with everything during our stay from basic room needs, to booking our trips, transfers and renting bikes. The room itself was spotless, the AC was amazing (which was important as it was 38 degrees during our stay), we had washing in the morning and had it back by the evening and location is brilliant as you are not even a 5 minute walk from the old town. We would 100% stay here again in a heart beat.

The house is big and suuuper well located, close to everything you wanna see in the old town but conveniently located on a super quiet street that lets you sleep at night. Phước was an amazing host, together with her family they really take care of their guests, they offered super affordable laundry, bike hiring services and if you need any help with transport or bookings they are super helpful and always willing to help out, it really made my life and travels sooo much easier during my time in Hoi an. I wish I had stayed a bit longer

This homestay run by a kind family is located in the best part of the city and you have great access to the old town of Hoi An. The building and the rooms are clean and the rooms are big. We arrived at 8am but they generously checked us in.

To me, Dong Nguyen Riverside Homestay is a hidden gem in Hoi An. What I liked about this homestay is its location, clean room, friendly family, and price attractiveness vis a vis other homestays. While it may be a bit far from the old town shopping street and the central market, it is near the night market and restaurant streets. I would say most of Hoi An's major facilities are within 20 minutes' walking distance from Dong Nguyen Riverside Homestay. Overall, I had a pleasantly surprising experience from staying at this homestay and will recommend it to my friends who are looking for value homestays in Hoi An.
