Nothing to complain about

The stay at Hoianese Old Town Boutique Hotel was probably a nicest hotel experience in Vietnam during my whole one month trip. The check-in started with a friendly conversation presenting different options for activities during my stay. I joined some of them and they helped me shift my view of Hoi An from a museum like town to a real breathing place with its challenges and charm. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated in Hoi An style, spotless and very comfortable. It was also very quiet. The breakfast offered Asian and Western choices with lots of fruits and homemade yogurt. There is also a lovely bonus: Vietnamese coffee and tea are offered for a whole day at no extra cost. However, what really sets this boutique hotel apart is its exceptional staff. Min, Emma, Helen are giving their hearts to this place and were truly caring to make sure I had the best experience during my stay. Their sincere, personal care was something to be remembered for a long time and I may recommend Hoianese Old Town Boutique Hotel to anyone looking for a meaningful and authentic home-like experience in Hoi An.

Thank you to Helen, Emma and Min, we had a great time. They talked to us whenever they see us, arranged our private car service (our Driver, Com, was very helpful and kind! I think he is the contracted driver by the hotel for all bookings). All 4 of them made our trip memorable. At the end of the day, it was like coming home to our own home with Air Conditioned lobby Also, my friend availed of their laundry service but her pants was missing. Helen and Emma made sure to find it! It made my friend very happy. The bed and comforter were super comfy, i always had a good sleep after a long day. Having a bath tub was a plus! And the room they gave us (free upgrade) has a balcony facing the other side so it was so quiet and peaceful. The hotel also had an elevator for convenience. Location wise, it was at a peaceful street just outside Old Town so for me, it was perfect. We also availed of the free walking tour and we are thankful to Cyndi! I hope we had more time to try the other tours but we'll just come back :)

My room was not soundproof enough, I could hear the noises from the hallway. Also I had no proper shower but a big tub to shower in.

I had a wonderful time at the Hoianese Old Town Hotel. The location is quite but within a few minutes walk of the old town. There’s the possibility to rent bikes to get to the beach. I loved the staff at the hotel! Emma, Helen and Min were wonderful, so caring and attentive. I’ve rarely experienced such open staff, they all knew my name and were genuinely interested about me and my stay in Hoi An.

The hotel made the hoi an trip even more special. Beyond the clean rooms, nice breakfast, great location... They took in my special request to organize a bday cake for my wife, decorated the room with ballons and lights. All the local sightseeing, and a special walking tour are well handled by the hotel staff. I enjoyed the cozy lobby for my book reading in the hot afternoon. Special thanks to the staff on duty - they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable - Min. Tin. Emma. We will stay here if we visit hoi an again.

My stay at Hoianese was truly perfect! The warm welcome from Helen and Min was extremely positive. At check-in, Helen gave me a very detailed talk about all the possible activities you can do in Hoi An or book additionally through the hotel. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very nicely laid out and the bed is extremely comfortable. The additional breakfast also has a very good selection. I stayed there for five nights and would have loved to stay longer. A very special thank you again to the girls who really make you feel very comfortable and welcome there. Thank you for everything, and all the best to you.

Construction right opposite the hotel which is noisy and starts early in the morning- the hotel should warn guests beforehand about it. The bathroom set up with a corner bath and handheld shower is terrible and makes for an uncomfortable shower experience. More than one member of staff mentioned they were a new hotel and wanted a review. The hard sell for the reviews is not needed as they provide a great service and customers who want to review would do so regardless of being asked or not. Lobby area also serves as breakfast area so it is cramped.

The first thing to mention about this hotel is the staff who are friendly and accommodating. From check in to check out they were outstanding in their customer service particularly Helen and Emma whom I dealt with on a regular basis over my 4 night stay here. I forgot something as I left the hotel on checkout and the staff located it for me and contacted me when they had found it. Spacious rooms, clean, comfortable bed, quality linen, free water in room and lobby area, strong AC, amenities provided in bathroom. Excellent breakfast provided with fresh fruit and yoghurts plus cooked items. It is a mix of Western and Asian food- I tried most things on the menu- best banana pancakes in Vietnam so far! Location is on a quiet street but close to the Old Town and the main tourist bits and can walk there in about 10 minutes. Lots of local restaurants around hotel. Small touches like a thank you gift at check out appreciated.

After I’ve stayed at the Hoianese Center Hotel in August 2024, I decided to book again at one of the Hoianese hotels. This time at the recently opened Hoianese Old Town Boutique Hotel. I can’t mention enough how grateful I am for the amazing staff members of Hoianese, with in particular Helen and Min. I’ve met Helen and Min in 2024 and I couldn’t wait to see them again. Helen and Min made my stay in Hoi A unforgettable during my trip through Southeast Asia in 2024 and to meet them again after a year made me so happy. Helen feels like a big caring sister to me who wants to make everyone happy! I felt so grateful for every interaction and conversation I’ve had with Helen. Helen played such an important role in feeling me home during my stay in 2024 and this year! Min feels special to me since Min was the first staff member of Hoianese I’ve encountered with in 2024. I admire Min’s positivity, optimistic personality and passion to help. Min immediately reacted in a caring way when I felt sick after I’ve eaten something wrong. The same with Helen, who immediately took care of me. I can’t thank Helen and Min enough for that. Besides Min and Helen, I want to give a big admiration to Emma, Vy (Gavy) and Bao (Free Walking Tour and History Talk) Like Helen and Min, Emma and Vy were so sweet, helpful, caring and heartwarming. I’ve met Emma and Vy for the first time during my stay. I admire Emma and Vy for their calmness but at the same time their willingness to help and to have a chat. I like to mention how amazing Vy felt to me as a person. Even without saying a word or to have spoken to Vy before, I immediately felt comfortable towards Vy. Vy is definitely one of the most relaxed persons I’ve ever met and spoken to! Vy made such a relaxed and patient impression and I like to thank Vy for the chats we’ve had. Emma made such a patient impression and she took time to interact as well. It was a pleasure to see Emma in the lobby and have a talk to her.

Honestly nothing!

This was an amazing choice of hotel! We couldn’t have asked for more and that’s largely because of all the support from the staff. When we arrived Min sat us down and gave us advice about what to see in Hoi An and offered to book certain excursions through the hotel, which made it so easy. I would in particular recommend the walking tour that they offer for free through the hotel. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and it was a lovely way to get to know the city, its culture and history. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable and whilst we booked the budget room which didn’t have any external windows, it was amazing value for money. The staff were all soo nice and happy to help with any problems we had. And to top it off they gave up a complementary clay figurine present when we left!
