While the overall experience was excellent, I did notice the ship is beginning to show a bit of age. Some additional upkeep—such as refreshing the flooring, walls, and a few cabin fixtures—would go a long way in elevating the experience to a true 5-star standard

Overall, it was a fantastic experience. From the very start, the cruise director (Tommy) and the Hermes staff were amazing—gracious, welcoming, and clearly doing their best to make this 2D1N trip truly memorable. On several occasions, Tommy went above and beyond to ensure my family was well cared for and that our experience was comfortable. The food also deserves a special mention: it was excellent, easily the best “cruise ship food” I’ve ever had. And, of course, the natural beauty of Ha Long Bay was absolutely breathtaking.

Hermes Cruise is very beautiful and comfortable. Lot of activities. Excellent food was served. Mr. Tommy, the Chief Manager was taking personal care of all of us. The staff was also making sure we are happy and comfortable. Will definitely recommend everyone to do this cruise.

There wasn’t anything!

The boat was spotless, the rooms and dining area were maintained beautifully. From the moment we stepped onto the boat we knew it would be an experience we wouldn’t forget - and we were right! I have an 8yr old in tow and Tommy was just fantastic with her. We had some allergies and food requirements that the team went above and beyond to cater to. We feel very happy that we picked Hermes, and we will certainly be back. I urge anyone who is thinking of booking, to book the 3 day 2 night instead of the 2 day and 1 night, as this was our only regret. Although we had a perfect trip and we’re very satisfied with what we saw/did, we wish we could have stayed longer.

Loved the crew members, a very relaxed vibe from the staff!! The boat is very cute and we also loved the 3 day cruise as we got to venture on the day boat which was a lot of fun! We all loved Mr Lam he made the trip so much fun what an ICON!!! He made our trip so memorable and was absolutely hilarious. - book the cruise just to meet this legend!! We also loved kayaking in the bay this was stunning!

Amazing cruise, one of the most beautiful seen around. We got a free upgrade to the presidential suite and it was amazing, clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming and the food was delicious.

Every thing great. The experience was excellent. only food I think I need more variety because I eat only halal food. Breakfast was not good for me. I was only eating eggs. But dinner was amazing I informed them I didn’t eat pork they did great jop in lunch and dinner. I stayed in the Royal room for tow night, I really enjoyed my time and the jacuzzi was worm.

The weather - was a bit hot, but that's June for you. But the itinerary was amended to work around peak heat hours.

Great itinerary, fantastic crew. Special mention for Tommy, the cruise manager, who paid attention to details. Spacious room - the quadruple room that we were in was very spacious with a food sized balcony for a cruise. Even better was a full size window at the other side of the room. The dinner was excellent, the rest of the meals were good. Highly recommended.

Everything was awesome. We got an upgrade for our two rooms to suite which is really appreciated. Staff and cruise manager (Tommy) were both very helpful and cooperation. Everything was Perfect .. Just one thing, although the ACs are very effective and we were comfortable but if they provide a Pedestal Fan in every room that would be great as it gets really hot at times ..

Choosing the Cruise in Halong Bay was the most confusing & time consuming part while planning the Vietnam Trip .. But I must Say that as I look back, this we the best decision that we made .. We had Our Most Memorable stay ever, here at the Hermes Cruise .. The Highlight was the Polite & Courteous Staff who were all so helpful, respectful & always smiling .. Special Mention for Mr. Tommy who was the Cruise Manager & was the Best of them All .. Took the pain to check everything personally ensuring that we were all looked after .. My Wife is a Pure Vegetarian & Me & My Son don’t eat Beef and too much of Seafood .. They asked us our preferences while checking in and the Food menu both in the Buffet as well as the set menu dinner was very personalised & we didn’t face any lack of options, rather we Over-ate .. The Look & Feel of the Cruise is amazing .. Rooms are spic & Span, with everything very well maintained .. Ours was a Presidential Suite which has a Pool / Jacuzi attached to it .. That was the best part .. The Sunset Party on the deck was also wonderful with Happy Hours on drinks & some good snacks on the house .. Mr Tommy also gave us some interesting cooking classes .. Overall, A Seven Star Experience .. Highly Recommended..

Had an amazing experience on Hermes Cruises! The 2-day itinerary was packed with highlights. This Full Board package started with Day 1, we enjoyed a delicious lunch while sailing to Ha Long Bay, followed by a hike to Amazing Cave and a relaxing bamboo boat ride through Luon Cave. Afterward, there was a fun sunset party on the sundeck with a spring roll workshop. The day ended with a 6-course dinner served at night, accompanied by a live bamboo flute performance by Bao, creating a truly elegant atmosphere. Later, we joined the squid fishing. Day 2 started with an early breakfast and a scenic hike up Titov Island, offering stunning panoramic views. For those who preferred, the beach provided a great alternative. The crew was attentive, the activities were well-organized, and the food was excellent. Special thanks to all the crew, the manager, activity team leader Lam, Thu Thu and her sister, Nam, and everyone else who made this trip unforgettable!
