The cruise brought us to a place then anchored there. It did not go around halong bay as I was expecting.

On the ship we had a group of men who got way too drunk and tried to ruin the atmosphere for everyone else but management were quick to act and kept them away from the restaurant.

The cruise ship is pure luxury. The rooms, rooftop bar, pool area, restaurant were all great. Staff were fantastic, our waitress gave us 5 star treatment the whole trip. It’s a new cruise so there were a couple of issues, but anything within their control were handled professionally and efficiently. The drinks menu was much larger than another similar cruise ship I’ve been on.

As a solo traveler, I was a little nervous about joining a cruise, but Calista made me feel completely at home. The ship is beautiful – brand new with elegant decor and open spaces that invite you to relax. I loved having a glass of wine on the deck while watching the sunset over the bay. It was peaceful and awe-inspiring. The staff treated everyone like family – shoutout to Trang for making sure I had everything I needed. The food was incredible, especially the lemongrass grilled shrimp and mango sticky rice. I also joined the cooking class and met some great people. We spent a weekend onboard the Calista Cruise with a group of friends, and it was, without a doubt, the best experience we've had in Vietnam. From the moment we stepped on board, it felt more like checking into a luxury boutique hotel than boarding a cruise ship. The design is sleek and modern, with every corner carefully thought out. Our cabins were incredibly spacious with panoramic views of the bay – waking up to limestone cliffs rising from the water was absolutely magical. On the first day, we explored the stunning Sung Sot Cave and climbed Ti Top Island for panoramic views of the bay. The following day was filled with adventure as we swam and kayaked at Luon Cave – something completely new and incredibly exciting for all of us.
