Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ThailandThe mattress is overly worn and over used. It is very uneven and uncomfortable to sleep in. I am not sure if they change the bedsheets and floor mat. The flooring is a bit sticky. Should have a thorough scrub on the wooden floor. Water pressure in the bath area is low and it took me more than 1 hour to fill up the bathtub.
The bathtub and design of the room is lovely. Staff is attentive and helpful. Located in the residential area. You can to feel the local vibes in the day time. Good view of the city. The balcony has many green plants and lovely breeze.

VietnamThe staff was very supportive. They let me check in early and even helped look after my luggage after check-out. Although I stayed only one day and checked out at 2:00 PM, they kindly let me leave my things there until 7:00 PM. I really appreciated that!

MalaysiaThe window near the bathtub is visible from the outside; it would be great if the homestay could upgrade to more private glass.
The location is close to the center, making it easy to explore various nearby attractions. The room is well-equipped, featuring a heater and a great bathtub. The staff is supportive and friendly. Recommend for short-stay!

VietnamThere is a small window in the bathroom which is not covered at all. Because of that, we couldn’t take a bath in the daytime. There were some insects on the bed sometimes, not many.
The accommodation was excellently comfortable, the room was clean, they offered us a room with kitchen. The view from our room was beautiful, but it was foggy at night so we couldn’t enjoy it much.

DenmarkThe rooms could really benefit from a dehumidifier, as the walls are not currently keeping out humidity, resulting in linen and clothes feeling moist. 😅
The rooms and facilities are beautifully designed -- very charming! The staff was also kind and helpful throughout our stay.

United StatesWhile it was nice to have outdoor and indoor space, we were surprised that reception was through WhatsApp only; no one was physically present. The place is an uphill walk far from town. We didn't feel comfortable driving a motorcycle, so we rented good bikes to get around but streets are narrow and cars and motos dominate. Kitchenette was very basic. Being there for Tet meant the few walkable restaurants were closed, so we had to really plan dinners carefully. If we did it again, we'd stay downtown away from the hills.

MalaysiaBut with many points to further improve such as the bed is sinked & bedsheets cleanliness is concern. I can feel my skin is itchy, not sure is it dust mites. Dogs nearby are barking the whole night, can hardly fall asleep.
Instagramable view of city & design.

United KingdomThere was nothing we didn't like! The bathroom does have a bit of wear and tear in the ceilings, like stated in previous reviews but it's not going to ruin your stay!
Cherry Suites really exceeded our expectations, it was one of our favourite places we stayed at during our trip through Vietnam! The room was clean and spacious, with a small kitchen and stylish decor. The bed is very comfortable! And the bathtub is amazing! Especially with the views! The rooftop common area also has a beautiful view over Da Lat! The family that own and run the guesthouse were very friendly and helpful. They provided scooter rental at a reasonable price per day!

VietnamThe staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were given a projector so we enjoyed watching movies in the evening. The bathtub was really large, and we were offered free candles and essential oils at the reception. Bath bombs and bubble bath gels are also available at a reasonable price. The bed was comfy and we loved the large heavy blanket. There was a nice little terrace, I enjoyed having tea and embroidering there.

ArmeniaI would recommend taking a bath during the day time while it is still warm outside.
Everything! Such a gem. We spent New Years weekend there, enjoyed every minute. All the rooms had very thoughtful touches. Our room had a projector that we watched while taking a bath. The staff is amazing, they let us stay with our Labrador (100k per night). Would definitely come back if I had a chance.

VietnamI’m concerned of the hotel’s cleanliness & maintenance. There were thick layers of dust everywhere on shelves. I also found used masked, tissues in the drawer. Bedsheets are not very clean either. Water leaking from the ceiling that caused floor mats become damn the whole time. Specially the kitchen area, it was always wet because of the overflowing water and soil from planters. Hopefully the hotel will fix these issues asap

IndonesiaRoom has a bit of smell of humidity, as it’s no windows basically. And it can be tricky to get in the room, as it’s a lot of stairs) But it’s just a small points, which totally were not a dealbreaker🙂
We booked apartment at the top floor and it was amazing! We had almost private terrace with unbelievable view, bathtub has a perfect water pressure, and it’s super cute and well maintained room itself. Stuff was very helpful and hotel also provide motorbikes for rent. Plus it’s super central location and is close to all the highlights of Dalat. Loved it!
