Family-owned environmentally conscious business. Excellent beachfront location 3kms walk through forest from Grand World Vinbus stop. Free buses ply between Airport & Grand World holiday park @ frequent intervals. Delicious vegetarian food. Facility very clean & comfortable. Staff very engaged & helpful & owner introduced herself day 1 & checked whether I needed anything. Have been on the move for 2mths & in my top 5 stays!

It would be great to have some organic or natural bug spray available during dinner—I got lots of mosquito bites in the evening. I'd also suggest adding a bath mat to make the stay more comfortable.

We had a magical time here! From beginning to end, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding, and the location was truly unmatched. I highly recommend staying at this eco haven. The photos do not do it justice!

It would be nice to have higher quality pillows.

This was the second time I stayed at Bamboo Cottages. I like that it is superquiet, the rooms are spacious, food is good, beach is clean, and the overall atmosphere very chilled. This time my bungalow was directly onto the sea and even had a small fridge. I took the electric bus from the airport to the North and then a taxi for the last mile. The hotel organised a motorbike driver who took me all over the island visiting sights and bumping into his friends. In the evenings I read books from the shelf in the common area.

The surrounding area was littered with plastic and other rubbish, probably washed out from the ocean but it would do the property good to get it cleaned up. The bed and pillows, although very clean and beautifully made up wasn't very comfortable.

Breakfast was pretty standard but well prepared. The lunch and dinner menu was great. Drinks were reasonably priced.

Wonderful location for a quiet stay. The staff were outstanding and couldn't do enough to help us. Hahn is an all star! Rental of mopeds on site was a real bonus and very simple.

Apart from the bed mattress being a bit too hard I cannot fault anything else. We wanted sun, sand, paradise and tranquility and this is what we got. Just superb! There’s a lovely feeling of calm around the place due to the gentle natured staff. All such lovely people. The flowers and gardening in and around the property was truly beautiful. We ate there every day and loved the menu. So much to choose from. We rented scooters and went to the local Bee Farm and other places for days out. We took the kayaks out one day. We did a private snorkelling trip (half day organised by Hanh) to Turtle Island and couldn’t believe the amount of fish we saw. Well worth it. So peace and tranquility but things to do if desired. Pool table too also to play on at night or whenever. Me, my partner and 20 year old son spent 6 nights here and were very sad to leave. Would definitely highly recommend and would return in a heart beat. 10 out of 10 from us lot.

I think the all Vietnamese people should be more environmentally conscious. The BC was clean but sometimes you get plastics objects swimming on the water and landing on the Cottages beach… well this should be cleared every day ! I want to point out that during my stay there I only had this problem two times, but who knows Vietnam, also understand what I am talking about. Unfortunately this dirt is disgusting and makes you feel uncomfortable. I am sure that at the BC they will pay more attention to this aspect. Than it will be a perfect secret spot away from the city chaos.

We absolutely LOVED everything about our stay here! The rooms were so clean and the bed was very comfortable! We enjoyed swimming in the ocean right in front of the bungalow and relaxing in the hammocks. And THE FOOD! THE FOOD! THE FOOD!!!! The food was so TASTY! And there are so many options for vegans/vegetarians! Plus it is evident that they care about where their food comes from which was a very important detail for us! Drinks and service were also fantastic! You can rent motorbikes right from the property and they are fantastic with organizing activities off property! Wish we could have stayed longer!!! Cannot say enough great things about this place! The only suggestion would be to have a milk alternative for coffee/breakfast. I will definitely be back!

The tiny resort is a wonderfully peaceful and tranquil location perfect to recharge your batteries and get some respite from Vietnam's fast pace. The sounds of hustle and bustle are replaced with the soothing sound of gentle waves, the putter of fishing boats and the countryside all around. Hanh who manages the resort was amazing, going out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The facilities for enjoying the seaside are great: deck chairs and hammocks, plenty of shade for the hotter times during the day. Loved being able to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at a table on the beach.

The bar closes between 4-6pm just when you want to have an afternoon drink and watch the sunset.

We wanted a small, laid back resort away from the crazy over development on the island and this was perfect. Our cottage was literally on the beach and a few meters away from the restaurant with tables on the sand. The beach and water were kept clean by the staff and there is no karaoke nearby. Bliss!

If you plan to navigate to the location, more information needs to be provided about how to access the resort. Also be prepared for unsurfaced tracks.

The beach location was superb, with excellent safe swimming. The food provided onsite was varied, creative, and of a high standard. The staff were helpful and friendly. This was our last stop after a 300+ km cycle across the Delta, so it was an excellent location to rest and recuperate.

Wanted to stay longer.

Familiar and personal vibe, beautiful location right by the ocean, nicely decorated rooms, the sweetest staff and a BIG plus for environmental awareness and delicious vegan/vegetarian/local & organic meat options on the menu. Also super nice that we could borrow yoga mats and rent motorbikes cheap with the whole profit going directly to the locals owning the bikes. Oh, and the doggies! Loved it all!
