There wasn't anything to 'dislike', it just lacked some of the extra touches that would make it feel like a 5* hotel.

The beach and the view from the balcony were amazing. This is a very nice, comfortable beach hotel.

The beach was absolutely stunning - and it felt like we had it to ourselves. Our room, with ocean views was beautiful. Attention from staff first rate. Tai, Bar Captain was very engaging - telling us colorful stories about the history of the cocktails we were enjoying. A dream few days staying just out of the busy beach area of Quy Nhon. Exceptional!

We were really confined to the resort for all our meals as there are not any other restaurants around. Not close to anything. Would need to travel by car to get anywhere else. Made it a rather expensive stay.

Liked the location. Loved the beach but unfortunately couldn’t swim in the sea due to a rip. Really liked the meals (but they were pricey) - lovely breakfast, lunch & dinners. Great iced chocolates! Enjoyed the yoga each morning. Great shower that had a view of the beach!! Very pleasant staff.

Lovely hotel with a clean private beach, walking distance from a small fishing village with a few basic but restaurants that serve fresh seafood. Very nice and helpful staff. Nice breakfast and food options available also at the hotel.

The food and drinks at the hotel are quite expensive. There is a small fishing village close by, where we went down and had dinner in the evening. The hotel ran an offer, if you stayed 3 nights it included dinner. However, this offer only applied if you were Vietnamese. It didn't apply to tourists like us! But nice stay anyway.

After some hectic days in Hoi An with lots of people, we were looking for a peaceful place with a nice beach on our trip through Vietnam. We found this nice hotel and we had 3 wonderful days. Our family of 5 was upgraded so we had conected rooms next to each other. Very nice place. Beautiful rooms, nice breakfast, beautiful pool and nice staff. Can be highly recommended.

We had the pleasure of staying 6 nights at Avani. Staff is excellent, location breathtaking. Yes, some refurbishment can be done and already took place with paintjob outside. Resort fees are relatively high but acceptable. Restaurant quality is solid, but don’t forget to visit the nearby fish restaurants on the beach. Nearbuy fitness facilities of Anataras are easily accessible. Highlight of our Vietnam tour!

The noise of the Air con is really worth to complain. I maintained the 10 scores because beside of noise its air is fresh and cosy. So I dont want the resort to be underlooked. But if they can improve that for sure a long stay of a week or something is a dream of everybody.

What I like best: the exclusivity and serenity of the beach, extremely good food, fun and beautiful room layout and amenities, and spa setting. I had 3 days healing myself well. Breakfast is so abundant and besides you must try a la carte menu, it is so so delicious that I chose to eat all day within the resort. It had not waved its quality at all from the time I was staying in 2010 something, even though now belong to a new owner. A gem indeed.

This is the improvement areas that related to reception staffs. When I checked in or checked out, no one showed their willingness to carry my travel bag (quite light one). Hope they improved !

There weren’t many other guests around during our stay, so it was definitely lacking in atmosphere. They could also do with more vegetarian options on their menu, as it was very limited. The food and drink were also very overpriced. We also experienced some confusion around use of the pool at the neighbouring (‘sister’) hotel. We were encouraged to go there by the staff at our hotel, but when we got there, we were quizzed by the bar tender about whether or not we had permission to be there - even on a day where there wasn’t a single other guest by the pool! The cleaning staff also knocked on our door at 8am on our first morning to ask if they could clean our room…before we were even up!

Facilities in poor conditions; - Pool edges unbearable hot to enter properly into the pools, operational issue as they reluctant to turn on the overflow of the infinity pool - Pool filters not on, which result in dirty water - kids playground with dangerous old equipment which broke down very easy and hurt the kids Staff service - A kind of manager annoyingly pushing for purchasing additional services and in the native language rude - Staff will not supportive or take any responsibility for welcoming, when you arrive in the rain - When asking for an umbrella they say they will get it, but after 15min waiting, we left to the room through the rain - when the kid got hurt from the broken equipment, only the maintenance guy asked how it was going, the other staff and a manager cared only about the equipment and busy on their phones. After notifying the above point at the reception, they acknowledge that the facilities are in poor condition, but kind of refused to under take any action and again an unprofessional response you can expect from a property from this level, which is directly the reason for this elaborated review.
