We really liked the locality and the fact that the homestay was situated on a narrow side street. It was quite quiet but very close to a busy street with a lot of places where we could try local dishes. We also got a lot of great recommendations for restaurants and eateries.

This was just the perfect stay. Down a little side street off a main road where there was lots of local food to buy in the evenings but really really quiet. Neighbours were all lovely and always said hello and smiled as we came by we felt very welcome. Host was absolutely lovely, so so kind. I will definitely stay here again!

The mattress was kinda hard for my taste. It gets quite noisy around 5 am already... But that seems to be common in Saigon.

Communication with the host was easy and convenient via WhatsApp. The host is friendly and helpful if you need something.

An was a lovely host and recommended the greatest places to eat. The room was exactly like the photos and the airconditioning worked great. Location is in the middle of the street food district which we loved and close enough to destrict one that we could walk there. Would definitely recommend!

if you are a larger person, this property is not for you. it’s a traditional house, which is narrow and delicate. The roosters belonging to the neighbour were delightful! until they stay up early! I loved it!

An’s home was spotlessly clean and has every amenity we needed. We had the whole house to ourselves, using our bedroom, the ground floor bathroom and the common area as though it was our own home. we were able to do our washing, which is SO great when travelling! The location down a safe alley to genuine neighbourhood let us live like the friendly locals.

An's homestay was really nice and clean. Location is the best, you can experience a more local side of the city with excellent eating options. Although you are located near to a busy street, the homestay is quiet. There are very nice neighbours where you can get your coffee - the best we've had so far. The host was very friendly, spoke good English and took his time to chat with us, give us some suggestions and help us.

The real location of the place doesn't match the one on Booking, so the Grab driver dropped us off around 600 m sooner than we should be. No towels were provided (the host might have forgotten). The AC in the first (very small) room is blowing on the bed so you're either cold if it's on, or hot if it's off. There's also quite a lot of light coming through the windows from the street lamp but the curtains aren't dark/thick enough to block most of it. The neighbours also have quite a few animals at home, and one of the roosters started walking up everyone at around 3:00 and wouldn't stop (wasn't loud enough to not sleep through, but cloud be a problem for the more sensitive people).

Very friendly host that waited for us until a bit over 23:00 so that we could check in. Speaks quite good English and explained the rules/procedure to check out (also sent detailed instructions via message). Location is quite nice since it's a bit removed from the main street and there's no traffic noise. There are a lot of food vendors on the main street as well. Nicely decorated place as well gives a homely vibe.

Very authentic oasis. It was like a home to me and I'm glad such an accommodation exists in Saigon. An is a very friendly host and you feel that he puts love in his homestay.

The sink is too small. I make a mess every time I wash my face. At 4 o'clock in the morning, the roosters start to sing their songs. Not a con if you can stand them. There is no backup watertank. My stay happened on the night when the district turned off its water supply. The host is trying to resolve this watertank issue atm.

Everything about this place is great minus a few issues which I outline in the dislike section. I love the location. It is right in the middle of D4. Good food for less compare to what over there in D1. The host does his best to accommodate you.

It’s quite an experience. You’ll stay in a typical Vietnamese house, pretty small but cute and homie. The location is in a local little street, surrounding by little restaurants with traditional food. The easy way to go to district 1 is by grab taxi.
