Nothing to complain.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, location is close within walking distance to Dong Xuan market which is a great shopping spot. I made a last minute reservation at around 10.30pm following some trouble with another hotel booking, but Anise attended to my booking immediately and staff didn’t even insist on paying on the night of arrival, told me to get some rest first as I was pretty tensed from earlier messed up reservation with another hotel. Truly grateful with that, my family was really relieved that Anise treated us with such kindness. I stayed for 2 nights and 2 days here, nothing to complain about. Breakfast was ordinary but still tasted good, it’s a standard array of dishes served in all Vietnamese hotels I guess. Thank you and good job guys!

Very peaceful environment. It was the perfect place to overcome our jet lag. Much better to avoid going into Hanoi upon overseas arrival. The staff were wonderful. Nice breakfast.

There were no complimentary water bottles, as promised and no hand soap. Instead inside of the fridge we found 3 half finished bottles of water that shows us that they didn’t really prepare for us. Furthermore, we took a taxi to the hotel for a distance of 1km. The driver asked for 240.000 VND and we called the receptionist. He did not help us, stayed neutral, and suggested us to pay 100.000VND, which is still a ridiculous amount. We think that they could have supported us better. We were also sleeping on the top floor, just under the restaurant and from 6:15am it was basically impossible to sleep from the chairs moving.

It was a nice hotel, we had really big room with many windows and nice view.

We stayed at Anise a total of three nights during our holiday to Vietnam. We found the staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are tastefully decorated and well appointed. The beds very comfortable.

Our stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. They looked after us and made sure we got the service we needed, from restaurant recommendations to spa reservations. It was also located in the heart of Hanoi old quarter, so easy to get around. We will stay again and again whenever we travel back to Hanoi.

This was a fantastic hotel! I can’t recommend it highly enough. I found it very difficult to pick hotels in Hanoi because often what you see in the listing is not what you get. I was very lucky and happy to find this hotel. First, the room itself was beautiful. The bed was on the softer side and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. The location is also excellent - it’s near all the action but not right in the action, meaning you aren’t battling the street noise when you are trying to sleep, and it’s much easier for taxis to get in and out.

This is a wonderful hotel. I have never enjoyed a hotel like this one. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms and beds are quite clean and comfortable. The breakfast choices were numerous and delicious. In all my travels I rate this hotel as the best I’ve ever stayed at.
