Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaWalls are super thin, heard people talking in other room all night for two nights in a row, cars are loud on the road if your room faces the freeway.
Great location. Close to the entry of the park which was good to avoid lines at the gate. nice balcony.

SingaporeThe water pressure and heater in the shower could have been better. It was alright the first day, but it got weaker as time progressed.
The room was very spacious and had a great view overlooking the river. We made use of the kitchenette lots which was a great bonus as we packed food for our hikes. The location was also amazing and even though it's not within the valley, the short drive in was beautiful in itself (and much more affordable than what was in the valley)

United StatesPaid Extra for Wifi - while it does not break the bank, I think this is annoying and should by now be a fairly std option and not an additional charged item; There were no Breakfast options - even a basic set up would be more convenient.
We had booked 2 rooms and got a connected set up which was great. The property itself is large - though we didn't use the Pool or the Hot Tub - definitely make the stay enjoyable. We did use the Firepit in the evening which was pleasant. Location was terrific !

United KingdomBe warned - Wifi isn’t included and is $10 per day for 2 devices. We had patchy signal but there is full 5G signal at the visitor centre at Yosemite so just go prepared and you can live without it for a few hours! We did have a fire alarm go off at about 9pm which reminded us of being in halls of residence at uni - we just got in the car until the alarm stopped! We didn’t use the pool as crowded with kids!
Great location for Yosemite - 2 miles from the entrance to the park and benefits from being next to the creek so the sound of water falls continues to your room. The shop onsite is reasonably priced as well. Heated pool inside and a couple of Jacuzzis. We went prepared with a shop from a local store so cooking dinner and prepping lunch was fine!

United StatesThe room is clean, but the fixtures were a bit worn. I wish I don’t how close it was to the highway.
The hotel is very close to Yosemite Valley. They are buried pools and hot tubs and a restaurant on site.

United StatesOne of the reasons we booked here is because they stated that they had a game room. We have kids and thought this would be a great amenity. The downside was that most of the games were not in service for the kids, just the pool tables for adults and corn hole for the kids were available.
The location was nice, the property was beautiful. The pool was nice for the kids.

United StatesAs many people have said - no wifi included. $10 for 24 hrs for only 2 devices (no changing devices). No cellular signal around hotel. This trip however is a place for us to unplug and enjoy nature.
Location was perfect. 5 minute drive from entrance to Yosemite. Hotel had clean bathrooms, kitchenette with supplied with basic pots, pans, cutlery, plates, and bowls. King Room had electronic fireplace that heated the room very well. Balcony view was breathtaking!! Having coffee in the morning with a view of Merced River will be most memorable. Staff at check in was extremely nice - Chris was an extremely friendly front desk staff and offered his favorite things to do inside Yosemite. Hotel facilities included pools, lounge areas, and the River Restaurant.

GermanyThere is no WiFi available, or atleast for 10$ per day and unfortunately the pizza place was closed during our stay.
The location of the hotel is impeccable. It is the nearest lodge to Yosemite NP and directly at Merced River. There are several apartment buildings and the rooms are very spacious, especially the bathroom! There are also some activities like a pool, a game room and a restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly, special thanks to our bartender gave us some recommendations for the park.

AustraliaPillows were all lumpy! For the price they can afford to replace the pillows. Every single pillow (& there were plenty by the way) had lots of lumps like pillows go when they're really old.
Affordable if you are happy with the 20min drive from the park & it's a scenic drive. Surprised our room had a mini kitchen which is good as there is only 1 place to eat.

United StatesOne thing I didn’t like was that check in was at 4, & we weren’t able to check in at that time. Our room wasn’t ready until about 4:50! Also, the breakfast at the restaurant could have been a little better.
The location was perfect! The scenery was beautiful. To hear & see the Merced River from our balcony was awesome. We slept with the sliding door open a little bit just to hear the sound of the river! Last but not least we loved the jacuzzi in our room!!

United StatesThe company they contract with for WiFi is ridiculous. Very expensive for what it is, still unable to make calls. They try to keep billing you past the date of purchase too. Not hotels issue per se, just wish they contracted with another more honest company.
Spent a lot more time on property than planned due to some car issues. For being stuck somewhere, wow was I lucky! Gorgeous grounds, lots of outdoor options to walk around, picnic & enjoy. Also really appreciate it being dog friendly & room has kitchenette.
