The smell in the room and the bright red spot on the carpet were seen right as you entered the door.

Some doors didn’t lock, hot water was warm, then mid shower lost all pressure. Breakfast was interesting, only eggs and sausage. Was expecting options, they had cereal, no milk(from what I saw) saw the pancake maker, no batter. This took place about 7:40am, so everything should have been there. But staff was cleaning up as if it was closing time. Ended up just going elsewhere for breakfast.

The location was good for me what we were wanting.

Breakfast was very limited. Carpet was dirty. Shower was moldy and water didn't get very warm. No couches in room. One towel set up. Door was dragging. Keys needed to get changed out more times then once. Restaurants was never open. Keys did not open outside doors.

The rooms had a not so good smell, the bathroom tub wouldn't stop dripping, the a/c unit was getting covered up by the curtains so we had to find a way to her l keep them out of the way, the restaurant over cooked our food, the staff didn't seem to have it together because I booked a double bed and when I got there they gave me a king bed so I had to walk all the way back to the front and told them I booked double bed, the lobby was warm and not really welcoming.

I like the middle scenery where the table sitting is, the room did get very nice and cold, the lady that served us at the bar/restaurant was very kind.

The room smelled vaguely of cat urine. It may have been just a residual scent of some cleaning product but it was unpleasant.

Website show free complimentary breakfast. When checking in the clerk said it was $5 per person! At 8 am there was no food or coffee available for two of our guests!! Had paid the $5 and no one was there to collect vouchers and front desk did not refund the money!! She told us some guests get free breakfast and others have to pay. Website says FREE COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST. ONLY 3 things (eggs, sausage,potatoes). Poor advertising to advertise free and yet we were charged and no food at 8 am!!!

Light cover in bathroom cracked. No usb ports on the lamps. Bathroom light flickered before coming on and staying on. Room was somewhat small, but okay. TV was small and there was no guide for the channels.

The security guy was super rude, accused me of propping a door open. Accused my boyfriend of smuggling in people. Was super rude and kept cutting me off when I was speaking. Told my boyfriend to shut the @f$@: up .. we had just walked in the front lobby and had been here only 3 minutes max. At the time. My boyfriend nor I have ever been to this property prior to this visit.

The smell of gas. In the building the stairwells were not the cleanness. But in all fairness. I checked in at 11pm or so, that night. People could have dropped trash In the stairwell on a Friday night. But the keycard not working for the exterior doors or door really was the only thing I thought to be unacceptable. The keycard also had trouble opening the doors it was assigned to. So I hope this information leads to enlightenment of a few issue’s and restoration. Thanks you for providing the platform.

Floor was wet, called front staff and was told it had been shampooed. She offered a new room but I declined because they were full at check in so I didn’t think it would be an easy switch and was ready for bed.

Comfortable beds. Room was clean. Easy check in. Parking lot was not scary like some of the others in the area, there didn’t seem to be a lot of people loitering in the parking lot. They could use a bit more lighting in the parking lot though.

6. Minor detail but I had a laptop to plug in and I thought that the lamp on my night stand was plugged in and so I tried plugging in my laptop to charge while I worked on school work and it wasn't charging. I discovered that there was no plug on my side of the bed, so why there was a lamp on that side made no sense at all. Just don't put things that need to be plugged in, near walls that don't have a plug on them. And put a TV Guide in every room. Along with maybe a menu of the restaurant. Or at least have some available at the front desk. 7. Shower looked great. But, there was no working door to close off the shower from the bathroom. There was glass but it was just for looks, couldn't move it. If you don't want your floors to flood, I would suggest switching the glass, to actual glass doors that can close and actually protect the rest of the bathroom from getting water everywhere. It's a cute idea, but it's just not sensible for a hotel. Would also be nice if there were maybe some travel options of ear swabs and/or cotton balls. Just little things that people usually tend to forget during travels. With your layout, you could get a cute little wicker basket to put all those little travel supplies on the counter. 8. Last but not least. The smell. It smelled dingy and not that great. I highly recommend looking into wall plugs or something, as I had to bring my own candle to burn a little bit in the room because of how bad the room smelled. No smell of cleaning supplies or anything. In the rooms and in the main hotel area/hallways. This is located right next door to Cowboys the Night Club and is not located in that best of area's but you can still improve upon that by having either local police patrol that area as we saw some sketchy people that looked like they were scoping out people's cars. Or having a 3rd party Security company, at least on the weekends.

You can find my full review on Yelp.com 1. I booked on Booking.com, I don't know if it's the website or if it is the Hotels fault BUT hotels need to make sure that their information is up to date. It advertised free breakfast and it ended up not being free (included). Besides Friday morning because of the fire alarm but in general they charge $5 for breakfast. Not bad but still. 2. Hotel room temperature was fine but inside of the main hotel area was hot, it's like the A/C wasn't working. It was uncomfortably hot in the elevator. Either turn your A/C on or get it fixed. 3. Outside could use some upkeeping and maintaining. It was nicer than the last hotel I stayed in but the backside part could definitely use some remodeling. 4. Doors. There should not be Only exits around the entire building. There needs to be at least one door that is an Entrance and an Exit as people usually park where they can see their vehicles and if their room is on the backside of the hotel, then they're going to park in the backside of the hotel. The only way I was able to get to and from my vehicle without walking around the entire building was the fact that one of the doors upstairs was broken, which made it where people could go in and out. 5. Cleanliness most definitely needs to be worked on, as the hotel itself doesn't look like it's cleaned that often. The little store area right next to the front desk was basically empty and then there was a vending machine that was half empty next to the indoor pool that looked nice but having a no food or drink rule for a pool is a bit ridiculous and is a sure way to make people avoid using the pool as most people at least want/need drinks while they're in the pool. It didn't look dirty to me but my friend that was with me said that he had seen a thick white film on the top of it the day prior.

A/C vent in the ceiling dripped the entire time. Had to keep getting a new key every other day. First night I waited an hour for new key and no pass key was available to let me in.
