How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The beds were a little uncomfortable while sleeping, and definitely could use updated smart TVs to sign into Netflix or to watch YouTube. Other than that it was pretty good.
Location was excellent, close to the beach and activities that were interesting! Staff was very polite and helpful.

We did not see any breakfast offered. Too much light coming into the room at night. View from room window was a dried up overgrown swampy looking area full of trash. Bathroom vent was not working which is causing moisture and mold to build up around the vent.
The location was right in the middle of a lot of big attractions and not far from others. Room was large and clean. Price was a low average for the area.

Only complaint I have was the mattress. A little to soft for my liking but I made it work.
We cooked our own breakfast but was happy with the kitchenette in our room.

The last night of my stay, around midnight it started to smell like cigarette smoke in our room. We called the front desk and they were quick to address the issue. I couldn’t get a room change because they were 100% booked up. It sucked cause our room smelled heavily like smoke but I was understanding that we couldn’t get another room. There was someone above us smoking and it was coming through our bathroom vent. I was satisfied how the staff handled the situation the night of and the next morning when it was time for me to check out!

The people that stayed there seems to be people that don't have home or something like that. Hopefully that don't damage the property cause is new and good shape so far. Noticed were like families living in the in one room and like employees from a restaurant or something like that . Few tourist

Certain staff members at front desk were rude. I was also charged a pet fee of $249 total for having a registered service dog. I was there for a week. Other than that, my overall stay was pretty good😊

We stayed for a week and NEVER seen housekeeping the entire time! When I ask about new towels I told I had to swap them at the front desk (not a problem). When I carried the towels down to swap them, I was told we didn’t pay a “linen fee” (which I had never heard of at a hotel) but since we were staying 7 days, they would swap them this one time. They never emptied our garbage cans while we were there. There is also no coffee pot of any size or hair dryers in the room. I can’t say that we will stay here again.
The staff that we had contact with was great.

Bed was a little uncomfortable and only came with 3 pillows. We requested more, but none were available. It made for a pretty uncomfortable night of sleep unfortunately. Room also had no hair dryer, but that wasn’t a huge problem. Just something I wish I’d known sooner so I would’ve thought to pack one.
Front desk staff was very friendly, everything was clean and newly renovated. Location was great and the price was very affordable.

The room smelled like a dog and the floor was very dirty. My kid walked on the floor with socks and they became black quickly. The “full kitchen” doesn’t have pots, pans, plates, it’s bare, how useful is that?

The occupants were all over the place . Several "groups" set up around the parking lot drinking , eating pizza , and being rowdy . Another guy on first floor when we came down elevator was cleaning up his drugs off the floor that he spilled . 😬
It was clean , staff was friendly . Only stayed one night but had no real issues other than the other occupants staying.
