It wasn’t super clean. I found black, tar-like, gunk on the office chair. The electrical outlets were loose and didn’t work well. The bathtub was peeling on the side. The shower head was a bit crazy, spraying randomly everywhere. The mattresses are not very comfortable.

Need better pillows and thicker sofa mattress. Toilet is too low. Water pressure in bathroom was very low. Living room curtain was broken room 408. Hard to navigate TV channels and some channels are missing, especially Disney. Some mold in top back of shower. Door doesn't close all the way. We came back and the door was opened. Refrigerator wasn't as cold, but freezer was. Elevator makes loud noise and vibrates, it needs to be oiled. Chairs in front of elevators need cleaning. Need Ice machine on every floor not just 1st and 3rd. Parking lot needs some lite repair.

The 1 bedroom was spacious for us with our wheelchair bound daughter. Hot breakfast was good. Dining area was really nice and cozy. Parking lot and wi fi free. LOVED the area. Near everything and eway. Felt very safe. Staff friendly. We'll definitely, be back. Just some minor quirks but we enjoyed our stay overall for our needs. Thanks

Our room was on the third floor, and there’s minimal lighting in the hallways. Our shower head had low water pressure.

USB on lamp was inoperative. Socket on desk wall was loose.

The breakfast bar was pretty good. I have to avoid sugar and carbs. Apples was my only option. My son ate everything else.

Refrigerator didn't have a freezer for my ice packs. Room was a little small and parking was tight with my truck. Breakfast eggs were cold and the pancake machine is really slow. I wouldn't factor in breakfast into my decision to stay here. Overall I would stay here again.

The Wingate doesn't have a pool. This really isn't a big deal to me as I knew this ahead of time but kids were asking if a pool was there on previous trips.

It is easy to get to when we visit family in the area. Plenty of places nearby for food, coffee, and other things we need when down there.

Nitpicky things that few hotels get right, viz: There were very few healthy breakfast options. Fresh fruit and omelettes. After that, sugared low-fat yogurt and flavored, sugared oatmeal. No vegetables, and all the other options were refined grains (bagels, pastries, waffles) and other processed foods (juices, sausages). Breakfast hours were 6-9am. Kids running around in the room above me woke me up at 650 am one morning, but it was quiet the other two nights I stayed. The air was really dry with the heater on. No place to put a towel except for one hook on the door. Billing is a bit opaque -- I paid in advance but am seeing an extra pending charge on my credit card. No idea if that is some kind of security hold that will be refunded or reversed.

It's in a commercial area; it was easy to find. It was mostly quiet. The room was huge, the king-size bed was great. Most of the room was remodeled; the bathroom was not and looked beat-up and old, with the door not working very well. Apart from that everything I used worked fine. Microwave was old but had plenty of power and the minifridge was delightfully empty and kept my leftovers cold. Wifi worked. Price was very good for me (~$80/night total). The blinds actually closed well and kept out much of the morning light.
