My family spent two nights at Willow Bay Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. The resort's location is perfect for a family vacations, it's just a short drive to many attractions and restaurants. They offer on-site parking, which was very convenient. We especially loved sitting out on the balcony and enjoying the beautiful ocean view.

Very dank smell in the main floor hallway. It definitely needs new carpeting or none at all. In our room it also could use a makeover and in one of the bathrooms the toilet could barely flush.

I liked the space we stayed in. It gave us all room and privacy. And the access to the beach is very close. Of course we loved the balcony looking out to the ocean.

We arrived very early at 7am from a 10 hour drive went to the front desk no one was there. Called a number that was at the desk and a lady answered. I asked if we can do a early check in and I would pay extra for it. Lady said I will get a call back when the room was ready we eventually got our room at 3 o'clock. Other then that had a great time

The location was very quiet and nice. Rooms were decently big nice bunk beds for the kids and a private room for the adults.

I saw only one staff member and that’s when I checked in, other than that I couldn’t find anyone to talk to. I didn’t like that there wasn’t a television in the bedroom with the full size bed. I think the property should’ve been cleaned better there was sand on the floor when we got there, also a dirt ring around the tub, the blanket had someone else’s hair on it. I just think they should do a better job cleaning over all but in reality you get what you pay for. It was cool but I don’t think I’d stay there again

I loved its prime location and direct access to the beach, you could literally walk out back and the beach is right there.

Dislike: they don’t tell you during check in that the elevator is only accessible on 1st floor and you have to go around to side of building to enter , no housekeeping service we was there for two days , thin walls , bed was making noise anytime we moved on it , lower level no view , bed was hard , no tv in living room area , no vending machine area , one pool was dirty , too many sitting areas , games broken ( should be taken out ) sand shower both don’t work , only one elevator for 9 floors so don’t be surprised of you have to use the stairs

The shower was horrible, the pressure was low and the handles weren’t working properly or labeled. You had a to take a really hot or cold shower, never was comfortable.

I love the location, you can walk right to the beach. The room was comfortable for a couple.

The location was great. It was not crowded at the beach. Ray and Angie were awesome. Had a little problem with the key pad and they came right up to see the problem. Enjoyed our stay and planning another trip soon.

Angie and Mary addressed any concerns right away and I was very grateful for that. Very nice ladies and willing to help. My family and I loved the location. Literally steps from the beach. When we arrived, shortly after, a rain storm started that blew debris and stuff in the pool that we could see from our balcony. Within a few hrs we looked out and it was cleaned & we enjoyed our pool time. It was about a 13 min. drive down to SkyWheel and the main attractions which wasn’t bad.

For starters, my shower was kinda dirty, and I had to get a clean shower head. It was terrible. there was no pressure or water for that matter. Only two eyes on the stove worked 2 bedrooms, but we only had one television

Everything. From the small suppose to be queen size bed which actually is a full. The rooms are very hot. Only the living room gets cool. Nothing here for kids to do. No front desk staff or security. You literally just text a number. I seen one front desk person from 7-8 that’s it. First floor smelled just like gas. Outdoor furniture just regular back yard furniture. No vending or ice machine available. The pictures online is catfishing. Definitely not worth the money. Very cheap place.
