Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThere is only ONE set of stairs to get to the second story. The second story has over twenty rooms on it and you have to walk more than football field to get to the last room. Then walk that back to your car. God forbid there is a fire. How are people going to escape to safety? The steps on the stairs are not level. One step will tilt backwards and the next forwards. The rooms are not built for people over 6ft tall. I bent down to grab something and hit my head on the black iron pipe being used as a coat rack. There is no place to hang a towel to dry in the bathroom other than the shower rod. The bathroom is 4ft x 5ft and half of that is taken up by the bath tub. There bathroom door does not close without you having to maneuver around the toilet. There is no place to put clothes in the bathroom. Everyone had to tell each other to avert your eyes while grabbing fresh clothes or towel after showering just outside the bathroom. The beds were hard too. I couldn't sleep an entire night without waking up to roll over so my sides would stop hurting.
The cleanliness was great entering the room. The bathroom and sink were spotless. The beds were made with clean sheets. Not a lot of dust even under the beds during my usual bed bug check. TV was nice and great to watch youtube on. Shower was hot.

United StatesUnfortunately, the TV did not work during the evening hours nor was it fixed overnight. Finally, after hearing others near us with similar complaints we made the long walk to the office to report our lengthy outage. In 30 minutes a technician showed up & got the system working again. Management needs to provide guests with far more information:’ie location of ice machines, router use, how to get single study light to work (I had to crawl under table , get into an extremely awkward position for a nearly 90 year old, try out different wall sockets only to discover the lamp lacked a bulb). For a pretty expensive rate,’we believed the lodging could have done a better job.

United StatesNo breakfast was available. Price was too high. It’s an old motel that has been renovated. Looks like a fancy Days Inn.

United StatesThe television would not connect to services so no tv for my entire stay. I twice requested a service technician but no one ever came. Another customer also experienced this. I was compensated for this in the way of a pet fee pass. Why are the sink drains always slow draining here? Also, could use a good mopping.
Nice room, comfy beds, clean and comfortable.

United StatesThe room was a deluxe which had 2 Queen beds. The bathroom is small. My partner at over 6 Ft. and slender barely fit in there. The chair at the desk was not comfortable. We ended up bringing our camp chairs in. We were there for a week and the streaming services for the TV quit working after the first night. Normally it wouldn't be an issue, but I need to rest a lot and I like to watch a movie. It took repeated attempts to get the manager to attend to it and he finally did.
The beds are very comfortable and the room was squeaky clean. One thing I liked were the tile floors! No nasty carpet. There is a coffee shop on site which has Peets coffee, sweet treats, and breakfast sandwiches. It doesn't have a cozy coffee shop feel though. There is also a coffee shop across the street. The location is great.

United StatesWish the outside of the rooms matched the interior . Would be nice to have a couple of chairs outside each room to enjoy our Mountain View . A free breakfast would be a nice addition too.
The beds and bed linens were extremely comfortable . The space was spotless and clean . The towels were soft and nice quality . There were nice touches in the room and the overall aesthetic was soothing and welcoming after a day of sightseeing. The check in staff was pleasant and helpful with a switch in our itinerary.

United StatesThe outdoor gather area wasn’t shaded as pictured & the pool wasn’t functioning. Both were reasons for choosing this property so quite disappointed. It’s obvious the management has a renovation plan & so far it’s beautiful but they should make guests aware BEFORE they arrive

United StatesIs rated for pets, but there is a daily charge (at this time $15/day for 1 dog), was expected But there is not a good place to take dog outside. Designated areas are all gravel No grass. Took our dog to nearby park. Queen beds comfortable But soft, couldn't sit on side as too soft rolled off 30" high hard to get into. Room was clean but small bathroom area with flimsy floor toilet paper holder instead of on wall, and could have used a hook or two on wall, there was one hook for shower towel. I used door hinges to hold clothes when changing. Tub did have a no slip floor. No kleenex dispenser which is a nice perk if you get it (bought my own). No iron, did have a hair dryer. No kind of breakfast unless you pay at coffee bar, they did give 10% discount for those staying at hotel.
Staff pleasant, room was clean. Large dresser for storage. Also had a desk, but uncomfortable wood chair.
