Towels / refrigerator better clean

Depending what your doing , location can be great. Towels could be a bit thicker

The door to the room looked damaged and the lock was tricky— had to make sure that it fully locked when turning the key. The bathroom should have been stocked with one additional roll of toilet paper.

Conveniently located a half hour from Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. Very friendly host to check us in. Spotlessly clean room. Soft, cushy towels and comfortable bed, nice pillows. Bathroom looked updated. I liked the pebbly floor of the shower which was comfortable to stand on! Nice to have a kitchen area too. The restaurant had excellent food and very friendly and welcoming service.

The hotel is in need of a major remodeling. It's very dated. There is no breakfast included with the room rental. The restaurant/bar closes so early on Friday and Saturday. It was closed by 7 pm on both nights. We didn't even have a chance to have dinner there or a beer. Had to drive somewhere else. Towels were very old, and some looked dirty and stained. Very gross. Beds are all full size, no queen or king beds available.

I like the boat slip since we were there for a fishing weekend. The staff is very helpful and nice.

To sum it up, the place should be closed down. The room smelled like sulfur, the front door locks are bedroom door locks (safety concern), the flip lock was loose and the door clearly looked like it had been kicked in once or twice, the bath tubs are separating from the walls, the blankets are like something you get in the ER room, the oven should be thrown away (dirty and disgusting), there were crickets coming from under the bed, the shower head was rusted and knobs were hanging out of the walls (no way you can take a bath there an feel clean). I literally lost the money and had to go elsewhere for my stay. I could not do it, this place is terrifying.

Nothing, this place is awful. I called 1 hr after check in to see if I could get a refund (offered to pay the 1st night stay but that wasn't good enough) they told me NO, they do not ever offer a refund. I explained I do not feel safe staying here and the front office told me they could move me to another room but could not offer any refund.

Limited staff at the restaurant in the morning we went in to have breakfast, lady needed help and couldn’t do it all by herself.

The locks on the door are worthless, and there was no additional double lock or deadbolt at all. It could easily be jimmied open. The place was built a very long time ago and it shows. Tile floors are cracked all over. Not much has been updated since it was built, except for the paint on the walls. The bathroom shower fixture is apparently original as well, as it looks like it was fifty years old and never updated. It did work, but all fixtures in the bathroom were very old, except for the toilet. It was all relatively clean though!

The bed was relatively comfortable. There was a restaurant on-site that had decent food and prices. Right next to the marina area, and it was within walking distance of the pier and Pirate area.

The restaurant on the property is amazing!! Great food. The rooms are very old. The pool was not in service.

Shower had low water pressure.

A lot nicer than i expected. It looks like the room was remodeled recently. It was beautiful, and comfortable. A better than average value for the price.

Everything else. There were only three plastic glasses, two small coffee cups, three items of stainless steel flatware (3 butter knives, 3 teaspoons, 3 forks), two small paring knives and one spatula. There were some pots and pans but the frying pan was essentially unusable. There was no dishwashing liquid or scrubies. The bedlinens were stained. The towels weree threadbare.

One TV worked and the gas stove worked.

Room did not have a window blind, it was installed when we we already in the room. No rubber mat in tub! No hair dryer

It was clean, freshly painted. Staff was very friendly . Full size fridge in room
