No HVAC. The first couple of nights it was difficult to fall asleep as we prefer a cool room . 68 to 69 degrees is our preferred sleeping temperature. During the day time the cool breeze and patio were perfectly matched with the view.

Very clean, modern Hawaiian decor.Grounds were very well kept and the pool area was immaculate.

Contolling TVs was very difficult and had to call for assistance to try and learn how to use. Couldn't get dishwasher to work? Toilet seat in guest bedroom was loose and wouldn't tighten.

If I could change 1 thing it would be to have air conditioning - at least in the bedrooms. I knew there wasn't air conditioning b/c it's stated on the website and I've stayed there before so it was not a deal-breaker at all but it was very warm in the condo. Nightime lows were ~70-73 degrees so it didn't cool off very much even w/ the windows open.

The location is perfect, the condo was beautiful and well-appointed, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We loved having a patio to sit outside and enjoy the ocean view. Also, there is a shopping area w/ restaurants in walking distance which was fantastic.

Breathtaking views of the ocean with sound of waves heard throughout the condo. Location is great, close to poipu beach, downtown and sprouting horn.

We are traveling a lot and have seen a lot but there is not one thing we did not like here.

In one word: Fantastic! Apartment 125 was a dream, the view more than amazing and the General Manager Marianne and her team the best you can get. After a week we left Whaler’s Cove sad but also very very happy. Terrific vacations!

No flashlights in the unit which was troublesome when the power went out one night for several hours.

Unfortunately, we had a rodent in the room and they were quick to deal with the problem, set out a trap and took the rat away the next day. Also fixed my safe when I couldn't open it. We had a power outage one night for several hours; they brought by a lamp. I do recommend that each unit have several flashlights for emergencies like these. I am 77 and could easily have taken a fall when the power went off. I would guess it was just an oversight. All in all, we had a great experience and will definitely come back!

The only thing that could have been better was the temperature of the jacuzzi. It was warm but not hot.

Amazing location! Oceanfront units let the waves send us to sleep every night. Quiet area in Poipu was perfect for our group. The grassy area was private to residents only so it felt like our own private slice of heaven. We barbecued on the grills, did yoga under the palm trees, and watched the frogs in the koi pond. So peaceful.

It's probably the corner apartment we stayed in. It didn't have a direct view to the beach and without air-conditioning, it was a little difficult. They provided us with portable fans which wasn't very helpful either. We kept hearing a weird noise all night outside the master bedroom. I am not sure if it was from the neighbouring property or the one above, but it made sleeping very difficult.

The location was amazing, close to many great beaches, shopping and restaurants. The apartment was cozy and felt like being at home. The place had great views. It felt great to wake up to the sound of the ocean and watching turtles right outside your apartment. The property provided was fresh towels and they also provided us with beach chairs and umbrellas.

Breathtaking!! We really loved our place! Right above the ocean, and simply gorgeous. The Hawaiian music streaming was next level.

The cove wasn’t really for swimming and has no shade or space for lounging. It’s really for entering the ocean to snorkel but the seas were too rough.

This had a beautiful view and everything you wanted to cook, relax, and view the ocean.

There was nothing I didn't like. I wish we could have stayed longer 😍. Possibly could add a little more screening between the patios

It's a wonderful location in a quiet residential neighborhood. Good restaurants within walking distance. The condo (#124) was beautiful and comfortable, well stocked and had an amazing patio in the ocean. Pool area was beautiful and warm. Seems more suited for adults then teens/kids. Very quiet which I loved! Small beach nearby but had a short drive to swim/ snorkel.

Marianne (general manager) was great! Got electrician in at short notice to change our ceiling fan’s frequency, preventing our neighbor’s remote from turning on our ceiling light at odd hours :)
