Nice location but the room we stayed in could use a little upgrading.

The sink vanity was so low my husband and I had to bend so far over to reach into the sink. It would have accommodated a child very well. My husband is 6 feet. It was not a very comfortable situation.

Not staying again, noisy intersection, small showers, loud clunky ac unit, bad parking.

Parking was off site as the pub/restaurant takes most of the parking. Smoke detectors go off from steam, loud trucks during the night and early morning starting/stopping at intersection at the hotel. AC unit make loud clunking noises waking you in the middle of the night. Shower is extremely small like a telephone booth and slippy, toilet is like sitting on the floor, so short. Didn't do the breakfast as a nice local diner was close.

    Quaint location, friendly staff

The beds are hard yet saggy. Not very comfortable. The room only had a TINY stand up shower. If I stayed again I would request a tub. I have stayed there before and we had a tub in the room and I didn't know not all rooms had them. The continental breakfast is simple, which is fine but it's not well stocked, unfortunately. One day is OK then the next there is hardly anything. The last day there was no butter or cream cheese for the bagels. Also no creamers the last morning. We stayed for 4 nights. Ate breakfast out one morning. We had 4 adults staying in our room but only 2 washcloths. We asked for more and promptly got them. The girls at the desk were nice and helpful. I liked that. The rooms were clean. Big plus there.

The price was good and the hotel is beautiful. Cute town.

The bed and pillows were not real comfortable. We may ask for more pillows next time or bring our own.

It was a nice surprise to find that it was comedy night when we stayed, so we got to enjoy some entertainment for free. Dinner at the Inn was great; we ordered a few things and enjoyed it all. Breakfast was decent, nothing exceptional. The cost of the stay was well worth everything!

Very rundown and in tremendous need of upgrading. Guest next door to me sounded like they were in my room. The woman was screaming so loudly at her kids, it was very difficult for me to relax and sleep. She was so boisterous and the walls were very thin.

Decor was like a bed and breakfast. Liked having a refrigerator and microwave in my room. Continental breakfast was very good…included many good things.

More towels we had just enough and it would have been nice to have a few extra hand towels

for a last minute reservation this turned out to be a good stay Great that there is a restaurant and pub on the premises. We ate dinner in the Pub and the bartender was very nice and friendly. Food was good. Breakfast the next morning was also good. Just basics like milk juice coffee. Bagels and hardboiled eggs, cereal. it was good. Shower had good water pressure for being on the 3rd floor

We didn't enjoy the ac being out whole we were there. However, we respected how the situation was addressed and understood that older hotels are bound to have a snag or two. It's how it is handled that matters. It won't stop us from returning.

This was a very old but nice hotel. My family had 2 rooms and we all had a great time. We all loved the giant bathrooms with huge tubs. While we were there, the a/c went out, and it was very uncomfortable for a night, but the breeze was great. They had a repairman scheduled before we even notified them. Also, we met a friendly ghost. It was nothing scary. Our autistic daughter had her tablet with her. While the rest of the family was away, I saw something operating the tablet and watching kids' shows. I moved the tablet, and every time I stopped the video and walked away, it would start playing again! I was glad it didn't happen around the kids, but it was a unique experience. I don't know the history there, but something likes to watch kids shows 🥰

My first room was on the second floor which was fine. Traveling with a working dog makes lower floors more desirable due to going outside for breaks especially through the night. The lowest floor for rooms is the second floor which was perfect, except that my first room was extremely warm (84 degrees). I set the thermostat lower, but didn't get any cool air moving. I notified the desk and they advised me that there was a thermostat that I could adjust. I let them know that I had done that but would give it a bit longer. After another hour it was at 85 degrees. At that point I again contacted the desk and they moved me to a different room on the third floor. A bit more of a hardship with the K9, but doable. This room was much better. Cooler by far. The only thing to note is that the room's window was already open about 8 inches when I got into the room, and that there is no lock on the window. That said, anyone would have to climb up over a metal roof to reach the window, so I really didn't take issue with that. Room was acceptably clean. Note this is an older Victorian style inn. If you are looking for a pretty cool stay in a historical setting, this is great. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well in the cool room!

The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
