My only...complaint or issue is that it doesn't say anywhere until AFTER you've booked that there are no windows. It's not a huge deal, but I'd say it's an important thing to note when describing the space. There is a very tiny skylight within the valuted ceiling above the bed area. The 10am checkout isn't great. Sure, it's only an hour difference than the normal buuut. I've always been annoyed that places restrict your check-in to 3pm unless you pay extra and then a 10am checkout. It's not even a full 24 hours, yet you pay a full day fee. Lastly when you exit you press a button on your way out the door that opens the gate to drive out. The problem with this is that you better be quick to get to your car and drive out otherwise the gate closes quite quickly. I'm not a slow walker but I also never made it out the exit gate in time. I'd get to my car and the gates closing before I've even pulled out of the parking spot. Like I said just little things but little things mean a lot. I'd say the gate closing was the most annoying part. So then you have to pull up, get out, and put your code in to open the door to press the button that opens the gate and get back in and pull out before it starts closing again. I suppose I could speed walk to my car and quickly pull up and just adjust myself and seat belt ect after I pull out. But why should I have to do that.... idk just a thought to maybe add an extra minute to the exit time would be kind + helpful.

Loved the privacy, location, parking, and the unit, and all n all was great. I'm not one that cares to be checked on, or I'm not a fan of staying somewhere that the host is always milling around. This wasn't the case. Yes, I received a message, but it was fine. They just send a message checking in to see if everything is OK and if you need anything to let them know and a 2nd message, kindly reminding you of the checkout time, etc.

Loved the industrial style in the Osprey Suite, but noise from the pipes at times wasn’t ideal at night. I wish we had known that the skylights opened (or we think they did) because the temperatures were rising, and it would have been better than aircon at night.

Stylish, secure, private parking and thoughtfully designed. Loved being able to cook meals at night after busy days, and washing machine a real bonus when travelling.🤗

The studio came with air ducts that cannot be turned off, which could affect light sleepers. Occasionally the birds would peck on the skylight window but only in the afternoons, it was quiet through the night and morning.

The property was well decorated, clean and comfortable! For a studio it was very spacious. Good and quiet location. Parking is gated.

The main mattress was small for a queen and not supportive. We ended up having to sleep in separate beds to get comfortable. The shower could have better water pressure. Everything else was awesome. There were no windows in the room, but that wasn't an issue for us.

It was extremely quiet because we were the only ones staying for most of the time. The apartment had everything that we needed and the living room space was nice. The bathroom was very nice. It was great having a washer and dryer and dishwasher. The host cleaned our car off when it snowed which was above and beyond amazing. They were extremely responsive to any question we had. It was easy to get in and out. It was great having a dedicated parking spot. We could control the temperature which was helpful in frigid February.

I needed more lighting (lamps as oppossed to overhead lighting) as I am a reader and the lighting was not adequate. countertop lighting in the kitechen did not exist so we had to use a flashlight to see the controls on the stove! Everything was lovely though and lighting is an easily fixable situation:)

The furnshings and kitchen were stylish fabulous. the size was comfortable. it was excellent to have secure parking.

I honestly don’t have the words to rave enough about this amazing place! Everything from pre-check-in to post check out was extraordinarily amazing and perfect! It has great location, gated parking, extra safe in every aspect, super clean, amazing amenities, the space was outstanding in any on every way! Like I said, perfection!

It would have been really great to have had an outside area to sit out and relax. There is a car park on the property and perhaps a small corner of this could be cordoned off and planted nicely to create an area to sit outside.

This was a self-catering property and everything you could possibly need was provided with regards to kitchen/cooking equipment. Basic items such as coffee, sugar, salt and pepper and cooking oil were also provided. The area was very well serviced with regular bus - stop right outside the door - and the immediate neighbourhood had lots of great bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.

The only complaint I have is that there was an air freshener in the living area that spewed a very strong, overwhelming perfume odor every few minutes. It took me a while to figure out where the smell was coming from (it was plugged in by the dining table). I unplugged it for the rest of our stay, but there were more in the hallways outside the suite, making the walk between the suite and the building entrance rather unpleasant. The hosts need to be aware that many people are very sensitive to scented products, despite the ads equating these smells to "freshness." We did not notice any odors in our suite once the device was unplugged, so I don't think it was there to cover up anything. There are more neutral ways to remove odors if necessary.

We stayed in the Sunstone Suite, which is a spacious, modern, fully equipped apartment. We had absolutely everything we needed, including a full sized washer and dryer, fridge with icemaker, air conditioning (we were there during a heat wave), even a small bag of really good coffee to get us started in the morning. It was very quiet considering all the cars and buses going by outside. We had a dedicated parking spot and the building felt very secure. Bonus: we felt completely safe walking to our favorite Russian restaurant, Kachka, and the Market of Choice (a high-end grocery store) 3-4 blocks away.

The booking was inaccurate on Booking but when we alerted the team at VioletSuites they quickly responded and accommodated our needs going above and beyond.

WOW! What an outstanding surprise! This place is a gem and I have already recommended it to others. Uber driver had no idea where we were headed and approaching the building we were a little skeptical, but as every other review had assured us - it’s spectacular! A safe neighborhood space that is convenient to food, shops and all the events we were seeking. We walked nearly everywhere - but they do offer easy free parking (we didn’t rent a car because we didn’t want to deal with it in the city - but this space would have made it easy). Huge floor plan - separate rooms with all the amenities of home … but fancier 😉 steam shower, stocked kitchen, and the most comfortable dream-ridden beds I have enjoyed in ages!!!!

This is NOT a complaint with the accommodation, which was top notch! However, the bar a block away was VERY noisy. The first night was fine, but then both of the next two nights there was loud amplified music playing and rowdy cheering. At started sometime in the afternoon (I got back to my room around 4:00 p.m.) and at least one night it went on past 10:00 p.m. I got earplugs to be able to sleep, as I had workshops to attend the next day. Because I didn't see any reviews mentioning the noisy bar, I am wondering if it was some sort of special event and not a regular occurrence? Everything else about my stay was great, I'm just sorry that the neighbourhood was not as peaceful as I'd expected.

The apartment was larger than I expected and VERY clean! I particularly enjoyed the soft bath towels and fluffy bathmat! The cold drinking water and Ice from the fridge was also a great feature! One of the cleanest places I have stayed, with a comfy bed and lots of little extra touches (umbrellas in case of rain, games and books available, and lots of kitchen dishes and utensils). It was nice that cotton swabs were provided in the bathroom, as I'd actually forgotten to bring my own. The washer and dryer were great and did a beautiful job cleaning my laundry! The check-in instructions were clear and there was good communication from the hosts throughout my stay. I had picked this hotel because it was close to the venue for the workshop I was attending, is central to public transit, and had a grocery store nearby. I would absolutely stay again.

Air vent system is quite noisy even with the A/C off. No shutters in my room, so I was woken up early by daylight.

The room was big and very we'll equipped, it was a really beautiful place, nicely decorated. Gated parking lot. Excellent communication with the owners, who are always available and answer quickly.

Location was excellent and central to a lot of places we visited. Gated parking lot had a charger for our electric rental car and made us feel safe when coming home after dark.

Unlike the other units, the studio has some overhead ducting that seems to be part of the building's air system and that emitted a constant low hum. For the most part it wasn't noticeable, but might trouble a light sleeper.

Clear instructions for checkin and checkout - very simple yet secure. Secure parking. Very clean. Studio was spacious. Bathroom and shower were spacious, including large counter on sink. Excellent Wi-Fi. Great location, with restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Though we didn't use it, was nice to have washer/dryer. Umbrellas provided in case of rain. Skylights were nice to have (as there were no windows - as was expected).
