The view was somewhat hindered by the glass wall around the rooftop deck, which was not at all what the pictures in the advertisement presented. A bit too close to the scene at Venice beach, meaning rather up close and personal with some "characters" on the boardwalk.

We booked a 1-bedroom suite. I like to have my bedroom for privacy. There was no door to the bedroom, actually the separation to the living area did not go up to the ceiling. So that was not a bedroom. I had not realized that Venice seaside is actually a bit low end. The beach is gorgeous though. I wish I had a better understanding of the car parking situation before coming. Booking just says "no parking" but there is a parking garage just outside the front door. But it closes at 7pm if I remember right. Also apparently they had some discount rate for the parking that we learned about at check out.

We had a gorgeous view on the sea side and beach. Also the terrace upstairs is very nice, and you can BBQ there. The place was clean and had everything you could wish for.

Fantastic location as you’re in the heart of Venice Beach (which of course comes with the noise and bustle). The suite was very spacious and would also be suitable for a longer stay. The staff were all extremely friendly and were more than happy to mind our luggage all day from checkout until we left for the airport that night.

No cons for the hotel itself. It is worth being aware there are quite a lot of homeless people on the boardwalk/around the hotel, which means it can get a little loud during the night sometimes (screaming etc.). We expected this due to the location and previous reviews, and it did not bother us.

We loved our stay here. The staff was very friendly and upgraded our room to a full ocean view room on the third floor (we booked the first floor partial ocean view studio). We arrived early in the morning and they let us in our room hours before the official check in time which was much appreciated. Excellent location right at the boardwalk, and a beautiful rooftop. The kitchen in the room is great.

It was very noisy in the apartment, not something that the property can easily manage. There were many people sleeping rough outside, clearly a challenge in the area.

The property is on the beach, so great access to Venice and Santa Monica. The apartment has lots of windows so it's ver light.

A bit noisy outside because a guy had a megaphone. We sort of expected it and kept the windows closed. Police should not allow those people to use megaphones.
