How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Cable TV was almost useless. I think 4 channels worked. Bed was adequate for a discount motel. Met our needs for this trip

Only problem I had was I could not get my Playstation 5 to connect to the wifi. The error message kept stating that it was an ISP problem or router problem or something. Hopefully can get it fixed up sometime, not make or break though, most of my time spent is at work or asleep.
Liked everything except one problem. Will be back for every work week in the near future.

Went for the cheapest option to travel for a medical procedure. Driving up, we were a little worried because the hotel is definitely off the beaten path but were pleasantly surprised checking in and getting to the room. The hotel seems family run, which made us feel safer. The room and facilities are very clean, bed comfortable. Great for a quick stay and needing to be comfortable and clean after my procedure. Will stay again, great for the price.

The road noise is a lot and the other guests were noisy. Quiet hours not well enforced.

Parking was a little crowded, but there are spots.
It was quiet and clean. Not sure I could ask for more for the price. Some other people were complaining about minor items, but I had no issue. The shower had warm water. The soap they stock isn't fantastic. So bring your own, but overall a good experience for the price.

Staff were more interested in talking with each other than helping customers. Neither friendly nor unfriendly. Just blah.
Decent central location. Had a microwave and fridge but the fridge wasn't that cold even at the max.

I did t like the workers they were not nice me and my boyfriend went in to sign in and we were speaking English and we are Mexican and a guy came out started to talk to the worker in Spanish about how we have more people in our car they had nothing to do with the hotel we were leaving to a party

The walls are thin you can neighbours. Didn’t get much sleep from people talking next door and the room above someone was pacing the room with heeled shoes all night till 3am - not the property’s fault for their inconsiderate guests but they maybe should have ‘quiet hours’ made aware to guests (we have had this in other older motels normally 10pm -6am)
Close to the highway so easy to find at night. Was clean

The hot water didn't work in the bathroom sink, we had to turn on the shower to get the hot water to come on for the sink. If they curtain was a little bit more blackening it would have been better, to much light came in, hard to sleep. A little noisy but with the location what do you expect. It wasn't bad.
Nice and clean, it was just as it was pictured! The bed was very nice! sometimes in a cheaper hotel you get a bad bed, but this one was very nice and comfortable. Felt safe.

No internet and no t.v. signal The map that the front desk shared of the location of the room was weird. It was confusing that a room in the 100's would be on the second floor when you walk past a row of room numbers in the 100's that are on the bottom floor. Renumbering the rooms is the first thing I would do if I owned this place

Beds need to be replaced and cobwebs need to be removed from around the window.
Bathroom was clean and good hot water. TV worked well and fairly new towels. Not a lot of road noise.
