Walls/doors were thin - outside noise was easily transferred in. Pull out bed and other fixtures/features (eg bathroom) were very dated and need renovating.

It was not quite as clean as it could have been. The water pressure in the shower was not very good. I didn't realize there was no AC in the room and was a little disappointed by that.

The suite was a great size. I was happy there was a fan in the bedroom. We had a minor plumbing issue in the bathroom sink, and maintenance was super quick and friendly about getting it fixed. The continental breakfast was great with many options to choose from. Overall, I would stay there again.

Not sure as you get what you pay for.

This is a sister property to the Quality Inn which is across the street. The rooms are old style and small. The wear and tear is visible. The other buildings (Quality Inn) are a bit larger and updated (and more expensive). However, the room was comfortable and clean and it fit our needs. The TV had no sound but the front desk let me know the trick to getting it to work. There are very limited TV stations...much better options if you stay in the other buildings. Breakfast is across the street at the Quality Inn. Safeway is a block away and there are stairs to the downtown area at the other end of the Quality Inn property. There are homeless campers around Safeway and they did ask for money when I was walking my dog. It did make me uncomfortable but my dog is large and that helped the situation.

Room was only one update away from Its 50’s roots (original green tub and sink) so some updates are funky (eg bathroom light behind the door, slow running tap, etc).

Room was clean, breakfast better than most motels of this class. Eggs and sausage as well as the standard waffles and muffins. Good value for the price. Quiet at night. Convenient location.

Noisy neighbours, but that wasn’t the fault of the property… knew from the pictures the bathroom was old/vintage, our first time ever with a padded toilet seat 🤣

Room was clean and comfortable. Room was very sterile but completely fine for one night before ferry to Victoria. 3 minute drive to ferry terminal. The complimentary breakfast was good, across the road at other hotel. Recommend Barhop Brewing, great pizza.

Bathroom sink has constant drip. WiFi has a vpn on it, making it impossible to stream content on our own devices.

Having a hot Breakfast. Cool vintage tiled bathroom. Quiet. Comfy bed. Close to grocery stores and bus lines.
