A paradise among forest and waterfalls

The bunk bed was a bit creaky and shook when anyone moved which made falling asleep a bit challenging, but tightening connections will likely help that a lot

Everything was immaculate and they had lots of thoughtful touches like popcorn and utensils if we used the BBQ. Staff is also very nice and helpful. Wish we stayed longer.

The only downside was the price. Seemed a bit steep for an RV, but may be in line with the market

It's minor, but they could probably offer the s'more kits for free like regular hotels offer cookies. Having matches or a way to light a campfire available would also be nice

Seth was very helpful and even helped us get our fire going. Location is beautiful. Room was as expected. Was glad the heat worked.

Internet access maybe - But a good opportunity to 'disconnect'

Very quiet place - Close to hot springs. Many trails options around. Crater Lake not too far and worth the drive even at this time of the season (lot of snow still). Magic !

It was a little cramped for a bunkbed. Also the bunkbed felt like it was wobbling every time I moved or crawled up on top of it and was so loud every time i moved.

After a 4 hrs on the river. It was so nice to be able to go into take a shower and the water was plenty hot not even turned all the way up.

What an amazing night. Seth was a brilliant host, so helpful and friendly. We bought firewood and smores on site for our fire pit, we had heated beds and a beautifully private glamping tent - Pioneer. An hour from Crater Lake and deep in the forest, it was perfectly located. The showers were hot and uncrowded. Toilets only had a shower curtain for privacy but it wasn’t an issue for us. We wish we could have stayed longer!

It was great that the cabin is in the middle of forest. My wife loved it. But there was no bath & show in the cabin, that was a minus points.

A ‘manual’ to the caravan would have been useful - apologies if there was one hidden somewhere….we didnt find it. Would have been useful to know best way to heat the caravan as it turned chilly.

Campsite vibes but in a cute retro caravan. The caravan had all you would need for an odd night - toaster, coffee machine, plates and cups.

We know nothing. There for just a night, we did not figure out how to heat the trailer in the early morning.

Flash back to Kenny’s trailer on Dharma and Greg. Opportunity to try our a camping trailer. Who would believe just how compact it could be?

Naive tall person rents RV and has learnt from the experience (but generally great for others)
    • Leisure trip
    • Couple
    • Caravan
    • Stayed 2 nights

I have never stayed in an RV before, and I discovered that I am too tall for one!! I constantly kept hitting my head, my legs hung of the end of the bed and I had to wash my hands in the shower as the sink was tiny. It is in the name, but this place is pretty remote, the closest decent supermarket is an hour away, so if you are planning on preparing your own food, make sure you buy before you get there. There is a small store next door that has a few things and a great restaurant a few miles away, but there is not a lot of life around. But I think that is the point :-)

The location was great for exploring the forest and for going to Crater lake, and the RV we had was spacious (for an RV) and had everything you would need for a stay. The bed was comfortable enough, as was the RV. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Aside from the things I didn't like below that were very specific to me, I would recommend here to anyone looking for this kind of stay.

Only potential drawback is distance to restaurants. We only stayed one night and brought picnic food for dinner. Unit has frig and microwave but limited space for organizing food.

Compact yet enough privacy. Can hear river and see stars. Tiny cabin cleverly organized. Easy access to outdoor trails. Friendly staff and visitors.
