Breakfast worst we’ve seen

Pool needed to be vacuumed. Needed quarters for the laundry and they weren’t able to help us. BUT THEY TRIED.

The staff were exceptionally attentive. Breakfast was good. Big beach towels at the pool. We wanted to stay another night and the staff went over and above to make it happen even though they were booked up. Lodge was clean, beds comfortable, bathrooms well maintained. Loved that it was in a woodsy surrounding.

When entering the room the first time, the antiseptic chemicals were really strong and unpleasant.

The Continental breakfast was really lacking. So much so that after one day, we just went out for breakfast. Noisy from outside.

Once I got over how expensive one night stays are in Truckee, I was fine.

This is an excellent place to stay for one night, considering the high prices of accommodations in Truckee. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I love the quick access to Donner Lake State Park and Mountain Brew.

The last time we stayed, we just couldn't get comfortable, because the bed was too soft.

The staff is wonderful. We have stayed at Truckee Donner Lodge 3 times in the past 8 months and loved everything about it. The breakfast is great, with such a variety of choices.

Jacuzzi was broken. Not enough plugs in the room. We have Wi-Fi devices.

I wish you would have updated your website to tell us you had a refrigerator in a microwave in the room. Some of us have dietary restrictions. This was awesome feature.

Young woman working the front desk upon arrival. Didn't say hello, welcome, how can I help. Instead she looked at us for awhile & eventually said "it's $15 for early arrival". That was it so we left for an hour. Luckily a nicer young man checked us in

Very large room, comfy bed & asked in advance to be on top floor. They honored our request without questions.... doesn't normally happen that way

There were at least a dozen long black hairs on the bathroom floor and sink.

The hotel was a very good price, and we just used the room for sleeping (spent our days at a campground with family) so it worked fine

The breakfast was just ok. The eggs and breakfast meats were not that great.

For a party of five, two queen beds was not enough room. A sofa sleeper would be nice. One person slept in thw sitting chair.

The room was nice and food good. Cool pancake maker! Staff was friendly.

Relaxing, good location with easy access to truckee and restuarants, quiet despite being close to the freway, relaxing pool and hot tub. Room was clean.

The lodge is conveniently located near the state park and lake, freeway and town. The room was clean, quiet, and had a view of the pine trees. The breakfast smelled great but I left for the park early and didn’t partake. I will definitely stay again!

No staff was able to determine if we could have a late check out. All staff should be privy to this. In general, staff was a little rude and didn’t want to be bothered. In particular, one member freaked out when I used the microwave in the common area back room, like I was going to steal something. Remember to lock the door, or better yet put it out in the common area like the coffee machine, so everyone can use it. I can’t imagine what the staff uses it for, as your breakfast was paltry.

Would have liked some kind of sweet roll or doughnut at breakfast. Not enough juice selection - only oj was offered. Eggs sometimes tasted funny, The roll-in bed I ordered for the friend who travelled with me was not very comfortable.

Room service met our needs. Breakfast was adequate. We stayed in Truckee mainly to visit my sister, so were away from the hotel during the day visiting and seeing the sights.
