Posted rates exceeded booking price by quite a bit and that is not legal. Unclean linen and only one towel. The bed had hair on the sheets and the sheets were wrinkled, as if they were used and not changed. Strong moldy smell when we walked in. Light fixture randomly turned on with no known reason. Very sticky spot on the carpet in high traffic area. Random moldy indoor furniture outside of rooms. Would have left but it was non refundable. Had to go to the store to buy linens because there was no way we were going to sleep in that bed. No staff to be found anywhere and “checked out” by leaving the room key with a pile of their mail.

It was quiet after they stopped working on the roof.

Out dated , entrance dangerous to enter road way. Would like a way to make coffee and have microwave. Sink not in bathroom, light above sink only came on now and then.not right away when I needed it.

Everything felt shabby from 70’s. 1 towel in a room, small and thin like terrycloth. Mattresses hard as rock. Musty smell killed with excessive air freshener. Way too expensive for the quality but reasonable considering the location.

Lots of renovations are going on on the property. Playground needed some help, but my 2 young children played on it just fine. They loved the huge slide.

The property seems to have some renovation going on, but is far from having services. There is no breakfast or food available on the premises, and the ice machine was not hooked up. The rooms were dated and could definitely use new carpet. The driveways into the location are not in the best of shape, and have a steep incline. View of oncoming traffic while exiting to main road is barely adequate.

The staff was pleasant. Pool was in good condition. The price was not bad.

With a 6-day stay- our rooms were never cleaned and we were never offered clean towels or even more toilet paper. We had to go to the office and ask for more when needed. Most places clean daily unless you ask them not to and always leave clean towels and toilet paper. The rooms definitely need some updating and could've been cleaned better in between guests.

The pool was clean and not over-packed with people, staff was friendly and courteous. The room's price was half what other hotels were charging, with that being said it was better than I had expected. You get what you pay for was it a high-class hotel no, but we didn't spend much time in the rooms.

There was no microwave, the water in the bathroom ran all day and night, the room was very outdated. The pool was closed for some guests.

The bed was very hard and only had a thin blanket on it. Not enough pillows. The office was not open at 8 am when I went for coffee. It was difficult to converse with the staff do to the language barrier. The smell from the dumpsters were bad as the garage was stacked outside them also.

The pool was clean and the room was clean. It was close enough to the lake and other attractions. The air conditioner worked great and the water was very hot in the shower. It was set back enough where the traffic noise was not bad at night for sleeping.

Really need’s updating, our door took at least 3 tries to open every time. No microwave in the room, iron didn’t work…

Not enough towels, the knobs on the faucet need to be switched, colds on the hot and hot on the cold , no knobs on air conditioner, not very clean and the garbage was overflowing out side the dumbster.

We had a terrible time checking in. When I 1st checked in employee had to call someone to check me in, he did not have a computer to do so and did not verify my information or confirmation. Then they gave us a different room than what we reserved. Also, the same employee came to the room 10mins later with the same person on the phone saying they had to confirm my payment info that the room was not paid, which it was 4 days prior by credit card and confirmed, and they had the wrong credit card info. They also assigned the room they gave us to a family that came about an hour after us and tried to enter the room. Then our room key would not work 3 more times and they had to fix it.

Rundown and gross and a mess

It is SOOO run down! Trash outside every room and honestly it was scary. No one around which was probably a good thing.

There was no coffee pot in the room. The shower kept getting cold then really hot instantly and my husband burnt his feet.

The room wasn't very clean and the cleaners were just leaving it. There was mold in the shower/bathtub. Didn't look clean at all. There were no towels, paper towels, face cloths or toilet paper. The bottom sheet on the beds was a flat sheet that was too short to tuck under the mattress so that it would stay on. The wall light wire was spiced into the outlet. It didn't have a plug on it.

The guy at the desk at check in was very nice. I like that they have a pool even though we didn't get to use it as it was closed.

The hotel is very run down. Needs a complete overhaul. The beds are not comfy at all . No room service as in clean towels. We had to go ask for them. It needs to be shut down and completely redone.

The room was dirty, wet rug, no idea what was on it, old, rust everywhere, peeling paint, no plastic cups, there was a single cup coffee maker, no coffee, cups, creamers, swizzle sticks, absolutely nothing to make coffee. The guy behind front desk was miserable. Of course smelled pot while sitting outside. And the worst-THE BED! Such a cheap mattress! Hardly any padding on it. Avoid this hotel! Horrible!

They don't have towels out. The bathrooms were a little dirty I wouldn't say cleaned totally. But you get what you pay for. I think the thing they need to work on is updating and just cleaning a little bit better. Also the bedding needs to go into the trash. I bought my own at Walmart down the road cause it's hard and rough on the skin.

It was only a 2 to 10 min drive to anywhere in lake george. We had a amazing family vacation weekend. The owners are really nice and they really tried to make our stay nice. Only 8 mins from the great escape. Beds were clean and looked okay.
