The bugs at night at the pool. It was difficult to communicate with staff because they did not speak English.

It’s an older property that could use some TLC. It definitely could have used a good deep cleaning. Second bedroom had barely enough space to walk in. Lastly, I did not expect to be charged additional money upon arrival. I thought when I paid through Booking.com, that I was paying in full for my family’s stay.

Location and friendly staff. Each villa is conveniently located to a pool or beach area.

We are a French family and our experience at Tranquility Bay was simply fantastic — something we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. Everything was nearly perfect. Our villa with an ocean view was exceptional: spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and equipped with every comfort. The beds were huge and incredibly comfortable — a big plus for me as I often have back issues and tend to be quite sensitive when it comes to bedding. We loved everything from the pools to the beach to the bar — the whole resort felt like paradise. And finally, a big thank you to the staff, who were all friendly and helpful. A special mention to William for the warm welcome and assistance! Highly recommended — we can’t wait to come back.

Parking tight but the whole island is…

Property is amazing. Three pools. Private beach. Absolutely picture perfect sun sets every evening. Families will love the oversized games. Couples can get their romantic privacy. Wonderful resort, everything about it. Wrist bands as room keys brilliant.

The restaurant lacked atmosphere as it was pretty much in reception and away from the beach. In terms of location, there wasn’t much to do (although this isn’t a comment about the hotel!). The cleaning seemed sporadic - she didn’t appear at all one day, and another day she just left towels but didn’t make beds or empty bins/clean.

Great 2-bed room, very spacious and well laid out for a family. Nice pool area too.

There were some dangerous poles left on concrete blocks at the bottom of the sea. They need to remove those. Our dishwasher was not heating properly because of the heating element failure. The person they sent was reluctant to fix it claiming that there was no problem with it. We washed most of the dishes ourselves because of this. The mosquitos were another issue but I believe they were working on it.

This was the best place we ever stayed for our vacation. The location, rooms, amenities, beach, pools all are wonderful. The rooms were very clean. The housekeepers were very kind and hardworking. The place is very close to most of the places to visit in Keys. A lot of iguanas wandering in the property which was wonderful to see.

The location and "Tranquility" are pure joy. We were given a free upgrade to a 3 bed beach view house which was gorgeous and so spacious it made our stay even more special.

Had a problem with a few insects (roach). Some of the pool loungers were broke.

The pool and tiki bar close too early. Having the opportunity to swim at night would be great, as well as being able to get a drink later (especially for people from earlier time zones)

The breakfast was advertised as $11, but this was misleading — the quality didn’t match the price at all. It was quite basic and didn’t offer good value for the cost. Also, I was disappointed that activities like stand-up paddle boarding weren’t included. Even for kayaking, there was an extra charge, which felt unreasonable considering the overall price of the stay. It would be great if the hotel could either include more amenities or be more transparent about what’s actually offered.

I thought $20+ was excessive for a margarita. And also, calling it a beach resort when water sports equipment was all extra is also excessive. Maybe if at least the kayaks or paddle boards were included would be a little more of a resort feeling.

We had to complain twice to get any housekeeping. Our beds were made once in 5 days. The housekeeping team also spoke no English so unless you speak Spanish, you have to liaise via reception.

We loved the setting, the pool, beach, sports and activities, as well as accommodation.

There was nothing we did not like about the property.

We liked everything about the resort from the perfect accommodation to the relaxing atmosphere and great family friendly environment. We had re booked for next year before we had even checked out.

Do yourself a favour and save some money & go elsewhere. $980.00 for 2 nights stay in a garden room with no veranda was an insult especially as they then add another €55.00/ nights for resort fees !!

Parking was a bit far if you're in one of the villas but was ok for us.

Fabulous resort feel, everything you could need was on property. Of course the staff is helpful with recommendations if you want to explore. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, gym was adequate, many options to accommodate all ranging from a quiet couple retreat to active family fun.
