The only surprise and drawback were a dozen Box Elder bugs on the ceiling and curtains. I reported that to the front desk, and the clerk told me what they were. Harmless enough, but still undesirable; I put them down the washbowl drain.

The room and bathroom were basic and clean. 2 queen beds with extra pillows - I used one bed and it was very comfortable. Huge screen TV, microwave, mini-fridge, all fine. My room was upstairs - no elevator, but stairs were fine with me. I was on a tight budget for this trip, so I was happy with the $70++ rate and location. The property is older, so nothing fancy, just the basics, and very quiet. Other guests in my building were all on the 1st floor. Staff at the desk were helpful and polite; no maid service during my stay, nor I did expect that.

No phone in the room, Wi-Fi was weak, towels had stains, bathroom room door wouldn’t close.

It’s not a 4 star for sure! But the beds were comfortable and it was quiet! The AC was quiet too! It had no house less people hanging around. Looked like a busy restaurant.

Construction loud noises directly above our room, not abating until 9 pm. Locked security door to the building wouldn’t even completely close, so no security at all. Although continental breakfast advertised, lobby was still closed and locked at 7 am.

Room could have been cleaner, staff which consisted of 1 person not very friendly & very rarely there.

Restaurant was not open. Bed was very comfortable. Very old dated motel. No pictures on walls, front desk person had sign with phone number to call if you needed him. Place had a bad smell. Would not recommend.

Walls were very thin and we could hear the person upstairs talking and pacing back and forth. We were there three nights and about 5 a.m. each morning, that person left. The stairs to the second floor shared one of the walls in our room and we could hear people running and walking up and down the stairs all night. The underlayment to the floor was noisy and hollow as you walked across the floor. Glad we were on vacation and could sleep in in the morning. Also, this motel was pet friendly. We didn't mind that, but right out the door we would come and go, there was dog feces and had to watch where you stepped. Not sanitary at all!

The fact that the motel was being redone was nice as our room was very clean.

Bad location. Rooms had an odor of feet , I had to use same towels for 4 days. I asked 2 times for clean towels and shower curtain to be changed was dirty and smelled like pee. Never was changed never brought towels Worst stay ever.

Rooms need to be updated. Sliding doors are not accessible - not sure that the rooms are fire safe given lack of escaping through sliders in an emergency.

When I arrived there weren’t any staff members, and when someone did show up they were very unprofessional. I lost my key and couldn’t get another key the next day because there were no staff members yet again. I called the number they had posted to call many times with no answer and no one ever showed up. I will never stay here again!
