We liked having a table and two armchairs, a real coffee maker (not the single cup type), reusable coffee mugs and breakfast.

Booked last minute and arrived very late. Staff was on hand, alert, and greeted me with a smile when I checked in. Room was, as expected, a bit dingy, and clearly is ready for a makeover. That said - I wound up sleeping surprisingly well, even oversleeping, which I almost never do. Took a quick shower using classic motel "soap flake," and was greeted with another smile by the cleaning staff as I departed. All in all - I'm in the Imperial Valley only once or twice a year for work, and I find Brawley to be a much quieter place - and far more affordable - than Indio. If it's not to far of a diversion for you (it's at the opposite end of the Salton Sea from Indio), you can do worse than a night in Brawley.

Beds and room were comfortable and clean and quiet. TV had good cable and choices. Price was good also. The included breakfast did have waffles and cereal.

They charged me an extra $6 for a reclining armchair which I didn’t want and didn’t use, because it was located in the only remaining ground floor room, which I needed. (I had asked for a ground floor room in my reservation weeks beforehand, but they hadn’t allocated one to me.) They refused to remove this charge. Hotel ambience is so-so.

I have stayed here before and do so because it is not over priced and is clean and comfortable for a night stay while traveling. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was fine.
