We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesThe water pressure in room 109 was horrible in the sink. Very little water came out, which made it more difficult to wash your face and brush your teeth. The next day, I will ask that I not be put on the first floor near the hotel lobby. It is very, very noisy in room 109 if people are hanging out in the lobby, especially later in the evening.
It’s a very convenient location. Very friendly staff and clean hotel.

I enjoyed all the features of the room and it felt like a nice getaway place. I also enjoyed that it was on the outskirts of Columbia verses in the city.

United StatesShower pressure wasn’t great and bathtub drained very slow. We had paid for the room ahead but debit card was charged at check in for a deposit. That’s fine but it was $22 and odd cents and it has not been removed from my account. There is no reason it should not be returned.
Room was nice, clean and bed was comfortable. Restaurant and bar across the street was convenient and nice.

United StatesMy confirmation email said check out time was 12 I showed it to the girl she said no.It is eleven even though I showed it to Her and then One. Of the reasons I booked this room was for the outdoor pool and it was closed the whole time and the indoor Smelled so strong of chlorine. You couldn't even go in there.
