Overpriced and overrated. Cleanliness of the facilities is disappointing, there was a teeth retainer on the floor when we walked in, surfaces are dusty. Almost non of the lights were functioning, A/C super loud even when it was turned off… almost no toilet paper.

A group of construction workers or hunter/fishermen were gathered in front of my room having a nice little party. They moved when I arrived but left there chairs and outdoor cooker where I could not park my vehicle in front of my room.

It was okay once I figured out how to use the air conditioner. It was a little too small in the bathroom. Hard to get to the commode.

It's a very nice, quiet motel with knotty pine interiors, a nice bathroom and shower/bath, and is dog friendly. It's within walking distance of what Walker, CA has to offer and a short drive to other destinations (Topaz Lake, Topaz Lake Lodge and Casino, and some very scenic drives and hikes). And for us, it was very quiet and I didn't hear a single fireworks boom over the last several years that I have been going here over the Independence Day holiday. Getting away from the noise of the Independence Day holiday was our goal for our dog and Walker, CA always delivers.

The main room entrance doors are basically interior doors. Hollow. Bathrooms are clean but older bathtubs.

Nice room that looked somewhat recently renovated. Good heating (for a winter stay) and a good amount of space, including table and chairs, fridge, coffee, and good lighting. Conveniently located right along the highway and good for a stopover.

It was a little too secluded, so make sure you get food and whatever you need before you get there - otherwise you’ll have to drive about 20-30 minutes away after 6-7pm. The heater also didn’t seem to turn off, so it got kind of hot in the room.

This motel was in a very secluded area, so it was nice and quiet. The room was clean, bed comfortable, front desk friendly.

TV remote didn't work and staff had to come and reset everything. Volume didn't work. No extra toilet paper and no Kleenex in the holder. Bedspread seemed too small and only two pillow provided (should be several more).

Room was ready when promised. Motel is quiet. Central area is grassy and nice for sitting or enjoying with your animal.

Noisy air conditioner in the next cabin. Way overpriced for what we got. The reception was deadpan with no acknowledgement.

No restaurant on Monday or Tuesday when we were there and is was a bit cold and rainy to sit outdoors.

Very quirky- good for summer as they had a lovely outdoor area with BBQ. Good value and beautiful location. Don’t go on Monday or Tuesday as restaurant and shop is closed. Great Burger and ice cream place was open for outdoor dining only but ice cream was a bit overpriced- 10 dollars for a flurry.

Room wasn't as clean as we would've liked (previous guest's Pepsi bottle under our bed, etc). Overcharged form our stay, though I was refunded the next morning after I asked. Also, walls are paper thin, so very easy to hear conversations just outside your door.

A little bit small for a family of 4.

Easy check in, lovely cottage feel to it. Great amenities, staff were excellent in communication and late check in.
