Mistakenly planned a trip to NOLA during Super Bowl week (which was hosted in NOLA). So to get away from the exorbitant prices of downtown NOLA, we (group of 4) decided to book a couple of rooms in Thibodaux the night before our departure flight. The cost per room was way more ideal. The beds were comfortable and clean. However, a fairly basic hotel, but decent enough for our needs.

United StatesThe room was just old; some light fixtures didn't work well, and the lighting was poor. The bathroom fixtures were old, chipped, and stained. The floors were clean-ish, but because it's Louisiana and very humid, there just was no way to keep things from feeling sticky everywhere. There was a vent in the bathroom, but no discernible fan (or switch for a fan), so the shower steam had nowhere to go. There was a phone on the night stand that was not connected, and even when connected did not work (when I tried to call the front desk). The breakfast was minimalist.
The location is terrific! The staff was super helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. They were accessible, cheerful, and capable. I couldn't have higher praise for their service and professionalism. They were the highlight of our stay! Towels and linens were clean and attractively arranged. The pool looked very nice, and although we did not use it, others were enjoying it. The exercise room was a nice addition.

United Statesthe bathroom was dirty in both of our rooms, there was loud noise outside of our door, there was a resident of the hotel walking his animal off of a leash, and the bed was uncomfortable, and our ac in 1 of our rooms did not put out like it was supposed to so it was hot.
I liked how helpful the front desk was, when you could find someone up there.

United StatesWe came as a group. The first room I was given , the door did not shut nor lock. Another room had a leaking fridge all over the floor and mildew smell throughout . Ultimately our entire group was uncomfortable and left for another hotel nearby.

United StatesHad to go to three different rooms at checkin. 1st room didn’t have 2 queens, the 2nd was already occupied. We had to go to the front desk three different times over two days just to get clean towels, and room keys kept shutting off repeatedly and had to be reactivated.
Staff was friendly and helpful when problems arose. Breakfast was good.

United StatesWell I made my reservation about a month or so ago. When we got there they said they didn’t have any room for us. So they wond up putting us on the 2nd floor. Then Sunday morning they put on the bottom floor. The reason we always want a bottom floor is because one of us is hard to walk up stairs.
