It was smokey, dusty and carpet hasn't been shampoo and a spider was crawling on my face as me and my daughter where watching tv beds where not comfortable I kept tripping over the bed sheets dragging on the floor .

Great Location, friendly and helpful staff. Options for disabled people and possibility to bring your dogs with you. Some rooms were nicely decorated. Nice system with the roomkeys.

The floors were dirty. There was no end table or chair in the room. There was no coffee pot or coffee in the lobby. The shower temperature was inconsistent; cold one moment then extremely hot the next. One of the spring beds with a thin pillow top in the room was flipped over and highly uncomfortable. The pool was drained and therefore inaccessible. And even getting into the room with the key(s) provided was difficult.

Dirty, permanent residents, dirty clothes left in the dresser, soft spots in floor, staff non existent in the office and even though it was a non smoking room it had a leftover smell. The stair case had bottle jacks under the post holding the stairs up.

The heater was not working properly in our bedroom. We informed office staff and asked for extra blankets. They fixed the heater & brought blankets, to the bedroom, while we went out to dinner. One of the blankets had, what appeared to have mouse poop droppings. The TV remote needed batteries. We had to look for staff to give use new batteries. WiFi connection was very slow.

It's walking distance to downtown South Lake Tahoe. Check-in went smoothly.

My man and I both woke up with lines of bites, more popped up each night we even slept on top of my own cover the second night and still got them..possibly from the comforter and the pillows, apparently the mattress have bed bug protectors but i would double check the seems of the bed before getting comfortable! and keep your clothes/suitcase in the bathtub to avoid bringing BED BUGS home! As well as the Spa tub was not very clean at all it had a film all around it and i had to hand wash everything before actually enjoying my vacation. Bed bugs exist here…it’s not a spider or mosquitos as the owner of the property told me.

The rooms felt very home like very cozy, the property is okay cleanliness of the rooms could be much better you could see mold and dirt in most corners, i liked the location being in the middle of most of all the fun tourist spots but you’ll find that at any ‘lodge’/hotel down in tahoe.

Everything was wrong with that place , need to close that place immediately

When booking, the room showed a hot tub, we did not get that. Also Booking.com mentions breakfast, nothing available onsite. The room was old, carpets were stained, bed was uncomfortable, lawn furniture was used inside, this hotel has full time residents, there were lights on outside of the room so you don’t know if it was 3am or 3pm.

Room was “affordable” for the one night we were in town. Easy walk to restaurants and casinos. Plenty of onsite parking. Very friendly staff!

This property is not clean in any way. Room smelled horrible and seemed like they were trying to cover it up with air freshener. Beds were like sleeping on a mattress filled with rocks. People on second floor running around inside room, tried to call front desk and it was closed. And no phones in rooms. Pet area was drenched with over watering so was almost all mud. Lesson learned pay extra for a decent room.

The TV remote wouldn't turn the TV , off, or adjust volume and no hotel staff to remedy the issue. The carpet was old and dirty. The room was smaller than expected. The floor squeeked. The place needs a renovation. For the price, I would try anything else!
