Aside from the shower issue and some worn furniture, we really have no complaints. And I want to reiterate the drain concern was fixed, and quickly.

The Shores might not have the luxury feel of a newer resort, but the staff is absolute aces and the stay was an incredible value. We checked in during a slow week, and were grateful to get into our room around 1:30pm, rather than 4pm. The decor and fixtures in our deluxe king with balcony were a bit worn, but it was clean and spacious and the balcony with an ocean view was immediately calming. One note: after realizing the shower wouldn’t drain (gross), a building engineer fixed it within an hour of my noting the issue. I give credit to a strong team that rectified a concern immediately. The pool is divine, the tiki bar is a delight (with a nice happy hour!), and the location is fairly central to exploring Daytona Beach. It may not have been the hippest, fanciest accommodations, but it was a GREAT stay and I’d book again if in the area.

I think the restaurant should provide more dinner options. It wasn’t that good.

I like that it was a resort and had a restaurant on site. I also loved how close it was to the beach. The restaurant breakfast was wonderful. Definitely try the pancakes, bacon and potatoes. My son loved the fries. The room was clean and spacious (King oceanfront). I will definitely be back.

Perfect location and very clean. Cute vibe overall to the hotel. Easy check in and out and they held my bags at checkout for a bit. Even had an elevator which is always a bonus with a large suitcase. AC worked well, good shower pressure.

We had the Filet Mignon and Salmon and it was delicious. Highly recommend it. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. The place was fancy yet cozy and we loved our room. Very spacious, more than your usual hotel room. We will definitely come back here again.

A ramp leading down to the beach from the pool would have been great instead of just stairs. Not having a ramp complicated carrying a wagon down to the beach. Using the car access ramp next to the resort for our wagon was doable but meant pulling the wagon that much further through the soft sand.

Our room was comfortable, clean, roomy. The pool was nice and the hot tub was a very good size . The fire pits were a great feature which was nice in the evenings.

The extra amenities were pricey- parking, on site shoppes and restaurants. Rooms didn’t have microwaves but there was one in the lobby!

The “luxury” style of the hotel with top notch while still being family friendly. The front desk has a texting service which made it super easy to contact for any needs or wants!

Everything there very good. The pool, hot tub, the beach, and restaurant there was good. Beside parking lot little bit high for me but all the rest was good.

The room was clean and the view was perfect. I got two big windows room and it was nice. Everywhere in the resort smell good and clean also they have a game room that my son love a lot.
