Not a thing!

The property is amazing! It’s unlike anywhere else that you will stay. It’s so special and one of our favorite places ever. It is like your own personal botanic garden and Les and Carol are THE best hosts. We wandered the property many times and found new things to look at. We sat in the garden and enjoyed a cup of tea each morning near the koi pond. Anything you need for your stay is at the secret garden. Any questions or advice you need will be given! Kapa’a is a great location for your stay on Kauai and much quieter than some of the more touristy areas. We can’t wait to come back :) Thank you so much Carol and Les!

There's nothing we didn't like!

This was the most relaxing and beautiful place we have ever stayed. Les and Carol were amazing and so sweet and thought of everything we would possibly need. The biggest surprise was the property, better than some botanical gardens I have been to. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely nothing, this place is perfect.

We cannot overstate how incredible this place is! Carol and Les are amazing people. We felt welcomed and had nice chats with both of them. The room is clean, comfy, and the garden feels like the whole island is just in front of you. It is so tranquil, we spent a lot of time just at Carol‘s and Les‘ place. The location is convenient, quiet, and you’re close to every attraction on the island and the airport. The Secret Garden Room made our trip to Kauai even more special. Book, if you get the chance!

Can’t think of anything!

It was SO serene and relaxing! The garden around our room was just beautiful…we loved the sounds of the gurgling fountain and the many birds, especially in the morning. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom/shower/walk-in closet was clean and spacious. Carol met us when we arrived and pointed out all the amenities, which are many, right down to the shoe driers if you get rained on! We absolutely would come back here if we’re ever in Kauai again!

OMG gorgeous, large private (minus the hosts) garden with lots of seating areas to enjoy surroundings. Hosts, Carol & Les have thought of everything to make for a perfect vacation including beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, shoe dryers, etc. plus all the listed amenities. Location was perfect for our itinerary...Sleeping Giant, Smith's Luau, Kapaa town, beaches, Wailua kayaking...It was all 'just down the road'. Would most definitely come back!!

Very nice and peaceful garden, beautiful room, availability of a portable parasol, chairs and a cooler to go to the beach, towels were also very soft, Kapaa is quiet central on the island so allost everything was reachable within the hour

True paradise, waking up in this magical garden, having breakfast on our little terrace, hearing the birds chirping, listening to Kauai showers... The best stay during our Hawaii holiday. When we return to Kauai, we'll definitely try to stay here again. Such welcoming, warm hearted hosts - we felt truly at home. Mahalo!

There’s plenty of storage space but the living part of the room is a little on the small side.

Lots of attention to detail. Stunning location and friendly hosts. Excellent shower. Really appreciated the little extras like freshly cut pineapple and chocolates. Quiet and tranquil.

The host provided fresh fruit, cookies, there was a coffee maker & coffee available too. The room was comfortable, nicely decorated and the patio door opened to a wonderfully whimsical yard with an array of plants, flowers, trees, koi pond and so many small details making it just delightful to see each day.

Cosiest room on our entire stay on the vacation. We had a full garden to ourselves which lit up at night and a pond with large fishes. This was the best and most genuine room on our entire stay in Hawaii.

My only concern would be that, since the property is shared with the owners, it’s not fully private and there is occasional noise from the neighbors next door. Otherwise, what a lovely and peaceful respite!

The property was so lovely, with inspiring gardens and artistic landscapes. It truly represents the epitome of Kauai’s lush beauty. The accommodations were comfortable and the hosts were friendly and helpful. They even provided a beautiful bowl of island fruits as a welcome gift!

Everything was perfect.

What a gorgeous place to stay, in one of the most beautiful gardens we have ever seen. We ate our dinner in front of the illuminated carp pond each night. Our hosts had thought of everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We really appreciated the laundry facilities in particular. The location was excellent, central to routes on the island and a short drive from shops and restaurants, as well as the airport.

Just be aware that you can get some noise from the neighbours - but this is out of the owners control.

The garden is beautiful both during day and night. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. You do need a car as you are away from everything, but it's only a 10 -15 minute drive to Kapa'a where there is a lovely beach and good food venues. Very comfortable bed, shower pressure good, huge dressing area, so lots of storage for luggage and being able to use a washer/dryer on site was extremely useful.

Carol and Les are amazing hosts. They provide everything needed for a nice stay. The location is quiet and up hill - fresh ward air, no need to use AC. Their garden is very nice. Will be happy to come back.
