Overpriced breakfast. Live music please!! When you come off the beach into the hotel there is one shower to rinse feet and the whole world lines up to use it. A foot pool would work fine. Coffee stall in hotel always has a queue a mile long. We played top dollar 🙈 but hey it was a once in a lifetime.

Iconic hotel in the best location on Waikiki beach. Two pools, a tropical garden in the middle. Steeped in history. Room lovely. Steps away from amazing shops and restaurants and food malls. A walk from everywhere. Beautiful, beautiful place!!

The umbrella sets on the beach were very difficult to reserve. We were able to get one for a Friday, but very unfortunately, there happened to be a wedding on the adjacent grass which was VERY loud and disruptive. We ended up leaving the beach early because of it. The pool is nothing to write home about.

We had the most spectacular room, on the 16th floor, overlooking the ocean. Spacious balcony and very comfortable and large room. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful. Mai Tai bar downstairs is top-notch (if not pricey). Access to the beach was easy and the chairs and umbrellas crucial for shade and space. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

The breakfast service and restaurants depend upon some staffer calling out a name, which they apparently frequently get wrong or don’t really try to find the person. Please use 21st century technology like pinging us using our phone.

Such a beautiful setting, rooms are (in the Tower) are set off with the generous Lani. Bidet was excellent.

We had a 25 min wait for breakfast and it was only menu order from a limited menu.

The room was big and we were upgraded to a part sea view. Staff were very friendly and helpfull.

There is nothing that I didn't like about this hotel. The Royal Hawaiian is amazing!

The location of The Royal Hawaiian is excellent. The hotel is right on the beach and right next to shopping and restaurants. But once you step onto the property, you feel like you're on a private island! The staff is like family and the food is wonderful! Great for families! The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are clean and comfortable. When you're at The Royal Hawaiian time seems to slow down. Relaxation is inevitable!!

Not much to complain about, as far as hotels in Waikiki it’s one of the best. They’re all super expensive, it’s just how it is!

Location speaks for itself! And the pool albeit small was such a calm, chilled area to relax after swimming in Waikiki.

Spending a lot of money for sea view balcony but they weren’t very private, the corner balcony looked over into ours which made the balcony experience less pleasurable.

Location was amazing, view terrific and you felt the history of the hotel and we loved walking around the gardens.

It’s disappointing to pay that much for an umbrella and chair on the beach, guests should get better prices and not getting exploited given the lack of options.

I loved everything, the view, the perfect jasmine smell, the beach and how historical is the palace. felt truly majestic.

The property was beautiful and well maintained! Perfect location and great beach. Staff was so attentive, talking with CJ and getting our Royal Hawaiian Iced lattes every morning at the bakery was one of our favorite parts of the hotel!
