Smoking outside of rooms - a guest was smoking a few rooms down and when we went outside we got a face full of smoke!

The Roxbury is enchanting - delightful stay and nice choices for breakfast. Huge selection of free DVD's to borrow. The staff is sweet and helpful. You won't be disappointed there!

Our room, Fred's Lair, was rather small and I did not like having the tub in the bedroom. I had to delay my morning shower until my husband awoke.

The staff were great. The creativity of the rooms truly unique. The setting is beautiful.

I have no complaints about the property itself, but the area leaves something to be desired. We thought the beginning of April would show more signs of life as this area is big on spring tourism, but most of the shops and restaurants were still closed for the season. Not anyone's fault, we were just here a bit too early. If you are planning to stay in the off season, I would recommend ensuring you can buy microwavable or ready made meals from a grocery story before arriving.

This hotel has so much charm. Everywhere you look there is a custom touch to add to this already beautiful property. There is so much more art than the photos on the listing displays. Every wall has some kind of custom art or theme. It's kitschy in a good way if you're into that like we are. The view of the sun rising over the Catskills was phenomenal and the babbling brook outside the hotel is lovely. Overall, it's a really visually stimulating stay!

Wish there were a bit more food options on site at the Stratton falls location. Otherwise our stay was lovely and we loved the cottage we were in.

The shower in Room 1 wasn’t working, but a staff member kindly offered to move us to a different bigger room. It was a thoughtful and caring gesture. Recommend book the spa in advance..

breakfast needs rethinking particularly in light of the amount of plastic and disposable material. Equally there could have been china and glass in the room rather than plastic wrapped paper cups. Sustainability is a thing!

I hated leaving.

Everything about The Roxbury is pure magic! The wonder, the whimsy, and the creativity in every corner made our stay absolutely unforgettable. The croissants were stale and sub par. Bagels also not fresh. Coffee could be better. I don’t like that I was required to pay a facility fee and did not use the facilities beyond the room and the breakfast of mediocre coffee and stale baked goods.

The location was perfect as we attended our grandson's wedding at the Roxbury Barn and Estate and it was close to other members of our family who had rented airbnb. Absolutely loved the Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany's theme!!

The room facilities are very new and clean. The room is a bit mini. I like the appearance of the house from the outside. The door is also very beautiful. One of the rooms we stayed in leads to the lawn in the backyard. The outdoor flowers are very beautiful. The environment is very suitable for taking pictures and taking a nap. The price is a bit high, and the breakfast is also very good.
