The yard is beautiful and filled with alot of flowers, plants and trees. The room is cozy with a beautiful overlook of the Columbia River and the bathroom has a large shower with numerous water spouts.

No TV but great WiFi so we got a good movie on lap top and watched in very comfortable bed.

Owner is a Master Gardener and excels in English garden layout. Her talent continues inside with a bathroom of mixed textures and style that is a delight! The view is amazing! Clean with lots of comfort details that will make you wish you could stay longer! PS wait until you see the Shower

This is a great place to stay, and Monica is a wonderful hostess. You need to keep in mind that the rental consists of a bedroom and a bath (no kitchen) in her home; the rental thus is aimed at one-night visitors on the way to somewhere else. She tends a cat named Sab, short for Sabbath. As you might imagine, he is jet black. The bed was quite comfortable, the wi-fi strong. I was going to suggest that Monica might wish to add a surge protector strip, but these days, if you carry a portable charger, you'll be fine. Lastly, her recommendations about restaurants were spot on.

This is a part of someone's house that is shut off with a glass door. Be prepared to hear the occupant and be heard. I felt a need to be very quiet later in the evening. This was springtime, and the grounds needed quite a bit of tending. Walking to a restaurant was not for the faint of heart.

The bathroom was newly refurbished and very nice. The shower was great. The room was nice in a quaint way. There were lots of knick knacks and an herbal smell. Monica was very nice and very helpful. The outdoor seating area had a view of the Columbia. I liked the resident cat.

Enchanting gardens, filled with lush, blooming flowers, even in mid-October. Expansive view of Columbia River and the golden Washington hills. Lovely room with everything needed. Monica was a very gracious and accomodating host.

EVERYTHING, especially our hosts!!

I felt like I walked into a chapter of a delightful book on the ‘Garden of Eden!’ The grounds are professionally tended to attract humming birds and bring that ‘take your breath away’ awe!!! And the view of the river and far away hills are spectacular!!

Lovely and cozy accommodations. I especially loved all the plants in the suite and also in the yard. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom, including the shower, exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this place and hope to come back the next time I need a place to rest my head in The Dalles.

I have really liked the views of the property and the room looked clean so we have booked our stay. Unfortunately we had to cancel the stay due to some emergency. But the property owner was very friendly agreed to waive the cancellation fee and tried on their end to make sure i get the refund back. I felt owner was very understandable and good hearted person. We would definitely recommend and would for sure stay at this place in our future trip.
