We liked everything, it is in the middle of know here but that was the reason to book it

The place lost a few points for host management 1) they messaged before the stay to ask for an extra $500 deposit. We did not pay this as it was outside of booking.com. 2) They also asked for very personal information for each of the guests staying, which we didn't provide either. 3) they sent a hot tub cleaner on the morning of our departure at 9.30am - which meant a) we were disturbed and b) couldn't use the hot tub 4) the cleaners were waiting for us to leave on departure before 11am - nothing quite like feeling rushed out of a property to ruin a nice relaxing weekend.

This place is lovely. The whole place has a really coherant feel and is very relaxing. Nice touches like heaters for all the rooms - it can get cold in the desert. The pacman aracade was great fun. The garden has been really well design to create lots of lovely areas to relax in.

The place is wonderful. After hiking in the morning, it was just great to relax in the backyard and the hot tub. The pans and pots in the kitchen could get some upgrade, but regardless, our stay was perfect. The check-in instructions were easy to follow.

Gorgeous house with a soul. Very harmonious place and we absolutely loved staying there. Wish we could have stayed for longer. The bed was very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and the beautiful garden made our stay exceptional. Thank you.

Cozy home right outside the entrance to Joshua tree national park. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, adorable backyard with a relaxing hot tub. My kiddo especially liked the pac man game in the kids room! Quick and easy communication with the property managers.

I would have given it a 10 except of those things. The heater wasn’t working which can be cold there so that is important to fix. At least they had small heaters to use. A couple of chairs were broken but maybe owners weren’t aware.

It was a pleasant surprise how nice it was. It was updated as the pictures showed. A lovely backyard. A nice place to stay.

The house was comfortable. The bathrooms were terrific. There were lots of little things like fun games in the kids room, supplies for s'mores for the firepit, and telescopes for viewing stars.

The property is gorgeous and well equipped. The hut tub was perfect during the chilly nights. It was perfect for a relaxing weekend. My sister and I loved the arcade and Nintendo system. This house had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend.

Unfortunately there’s a 9 o clock outside noise curfew. We sat out chatting til 10ish and we’re cautioned that we were too loud.

No breakfast but full kitchen. The back yard was lovely, jacuzzi, fire pit, hammock. Very cozy

One of the best is an air mattress you need to put up yourself - which is not mentioned in the description. The renter also tried to charge me $100 afterwards for a broken shower faucet - which we didn’t break.

It was very dirty. Judging on other reviews I must have caught their cleaners on an off day but the home really was not comfortable due to the level of hair, crumbs and dust. It was so bad that I cut my stay short and moved to a hotel. There were clumps of hair in the bathroom sink, old food in the kitchen sink, rotting food between the fridge and the counter, old/used bath towels from previous guests left out, broken closet door, etc. There were also a couple plants in really rough shape (not being cared for) and many of the pots outside were on their side / strewn about. There was a real sense that no one is actually caring for the property. When I mentioned the dirt/mess I expected they’d send someone by to clean properly. But instead they left me a “gift basket” which was a plastic container from the dollar store with some plastic flowers, grape juice and chocolates. When I asked for a refund for the nights I didn’t stay at the property they denied the request and haven’t responded to the photos of the mess I emailed to them. There’s lots of good places to stay in Joshua Tree. This just isn’t one of them.

The home is spacious and the location is near the entrance to the park.
