It was a great location, close to the centre and easy to park which was free. We walked down into Santa Barbara in the day time and it was a nice walk, further than you think. However we did not get a new refurbished room like the ones in the photos on here so miss sold really and would not pay the rate per night if I knew this!

We got assigned a room that looks very different with the one posted on Booking. It was really an Old-style one but was good anyway. Parking is free but there is not enough space for all the guests so you need to look for a parking all around the hotel if arrived after the 10pm. Quite bothering.

The hotel has a good position to easily reach Santa Barbara’s pier. The receptionist is kind and friendly. The room is quite an old-style one (especially the restroom) but is large and really clean.

Unless I’m confusing this property, thought they offered chips and drinks etc. Not this year. The bathroom is a little odd with the restroom next to the sink and the shower secluded. Thought the toilet would be secluded.

We went to a concert at SOHO and always stay here because it’s a convenient walk down the street and back. Also, the price is always reasonable, a definite plus.

The bathroom and some of the room features were a little run down.

The location is very nice. They had free bikes you could borrow and we rode down State Street to the water, enjoying the view and getting to see more of the location. Could easily walk to multiple restaurants & shops. The person working at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The fireplace feature in the room was great.

Filthy rug under bed, had to wear shoes in the room to avoid touching it. If the rug were gone, I would have given full marks for cleanliness, but this was so gross! Also, you couldn’t turn on the shower without standing in it due to the layout, so you had to spray yourself with freezing cold water every time you showered.

Convenient parking, cute design, comfortable bed and linens. Great coffee in room. Very quiet and peaceful.

Bathroom was quite small and dated but absolutely functional. It can be a little noisy. Rooms a little on the smaller side for 3 people but manageable.

This motel is in an excellent location. Short walk to state street. Very residential and felt safe. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. They had a lovely outside area where you could sit out and some sun loungers for bathing. We arrived really late and there was no one available to check us in but clear concise check in instructions were provided
