What's not to like.

Manfred is an excellent host. He makes you feel welcomed and he's easy to talk to and an interesting fellow. If you need anything he's always available. He takes his job very seriously and aims to please. The room and bathroom are very clean and neat. He provides information of Las Cruces thru Little books so you know what's around the city and places you can visit. I called ahead and asked if my mother can visit me for a bit and he said yes. Very understanding and a great host. Thank you again for a wonderful experience. Also, he sells photos I suggest picking once up they are so beautiful.

An absolutely wonderful place, and Manfred could not have been warmer and more friendly! Very enjoyable to talk to him. The room itself was extremely comfortable and clean, and also filled with many beautiful objects from Manfred's travels. I would highly recommend!

The quality of the shampoo conditioner and soap could have been better…the dispensers also weren’t working. While cleanliness was really good the bedding appeared to be washed with a detergent that likely had more harsh chemicals…perhaps using a detergent with more natural ingredients (lavender or eucalyptus) would be more pleasant for chemically sensitive guests but still get the job done in cleaning the bedding well.

Nice setup…convenient location…good photographs on the wall…good price. Many photographs represented the area (Organ Mountains/white sands) except for the Sonoran desert photos. There was an opportunity to purchase from a local artist…these type of business collaborations are great. Friendly host. I appreciate the desire to conserve water and the recommendation for shorter showers. Also has dispensers for soap and shampoo which is more eco friendly than small plastic bottles.

I came in late and left early so an outside light would’ve been nice.

No complaints !! I could perhaps have used a table for a laptop ... but I did not ask, .... I think that if I had that would have been accommodated.

This is just a room in the home, no access to outside patio. We have some accessibility issues and home is filled with beautiful objects so was difficult to maneuver easily.

No breakfast offered but coffee available to brew in room. Microwave and small refrigerator provided. Comfortable bed with enough room for two. Private room and bath. Beautiful area in Las Cruces and close to University with plenty of restaurants nearby.

The whole experience exceeded my expectation. It was very secure, clean and artistically appointed room and bathroom. Manfred was an excellent and knowledgeable host. He was very helpful guide to the town. The location in the town was stunning.

Our host was wonderful and took the extra step to ask about our safety when we did not arrive when planned. Was informative on other routes to his location and was warm in greeting us. Felt welcomed.

The host informed us of what is happening in the area, and I learned about what life is like for an American. I learned about local culture. You can not get this from a motel room. We experienced what the 4th of July is all about because our host informed us where the event was being held.

Although the mattress was comfortable, a full size bed was a bit small for two people.

The room was very nice and our host extremely welcoming. There was a small frig, a coffee maker with plenty of coffee, and a closet for our luggage. The bathroom was spacious with plenty of supplies. We enjoyed sitting on the lovely back patio.

Property advertised as a private room w bath and patio.....soooo, thought maybe private extra room off house......was a room inside the house only.....had to go in front door, park infront of house in neiborhood, only walk down hall to room....air controlled by owner, so no fan, stuffy, too quiet....could hear all in house, owner fussing around , and vise versa.....patio was thru main house that was not able to cross cuz off limits....Like staying w/ family don't know very well.....2 pages of rules, not reasonable....Not a good situation for a single female alone, assumed it was a couple, he was a single male.....Not a good situation, safety wise...More like a hostle and should be advertised as such....He was euoropian so got why he thought was a good stay, but not as expected for a hotel or bnb stay in usa.....
