I loved the location - very convenient, and cheap for NYC/Manhattan

The roof had no roof, and it was incredibly noisy. Multiple mornings there were slamming doors and loud noise. Also, there was only 1 toilet for the entire floor.

It was fine for a night or two. Location was great! Staff was friendly.

The dorm area was air conditioned but felt muggy at the same time. Not a lot of fresh air. The bed was lopsided and not the most comfortable. It was also short. My feet kept hitting the wall and I'm average height. The showers were incredibly small and cramped. Bathrooms had no paper towels. Sinks had no counter space to put toiletries.

Rooms are open in the ceiling, so you hear everything. It is very cold at night. The water in the showers is always boiling hot

Location is perfect. A few minutes walk from subway, Chinatown and Little Italy. You have your own little room which is nice. Good place for a few nights

Bed and mattress were absolutely horrible! 2 showers and 1 toilet for men for the entire floor. But somehow never really busy.

The way they organize the check in process and other services, is perfect. The rules are clear and great. Guests mostly keep it, so it's good.

My bed wasn't flat, most probably to heavy person used it before. In "rush hours" there were not enough warm water.

I have been to so many hostels around the world but this one was worse then I could ever imagine. The Room was dirty and not as described The looks they use on the doors re louder then a car 2 toilets and 3 showers for around 30people No windows just an ac that no one can control

The public kitchenette was supplied well with a community fridge and labeling system. The water dispenser provided hot & cold water. The lounge and dinning table were easy to relax in. The keyless room made it easy to lock the door without any issues. One of the two shower broke but within a day it was fixed. I like the quaint look of the common areas and theming. It was also air conditioned well and acted as a buffer to all the street noise which meant that noises from outside didn't make their way into the sleeping area.

I liked the keyless room but the sound to lock and unlock the door was loud and hearing multiple of them throughout the day was not ideal. The male washroom only had one toilet and no urinal. The two showers were cramped in size. There was only one towel provided for the stay in the room. There was a lack of shelving and to hold and storage items of the ground.

The location was really good and good rate compared to other places in Soho. It was good to have a locked door for each bed unlike the usual hostel layout. Staff were friendly, being able to leave the luggage after the checkout helped.

The "rooms" could be a bit bigger at least to allow space to open a suitcase. For female bathrooms, there can be more than one hairdryer. Also the showers were really small, it was hard to fit in.

Quiet, private, clean and friendly/helpful staff! A unique stay!

Whatever the air freshener or cleaning product is that is a constant smell in the building was over powering at times and made me feel unwell.

I really liked that it was vintage style. I also liked that we had individual rooms. The space was very friendly and controlled. This is the best hostel I have stayed at.
