Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesWhile beautiful, it was’t clear anyone had stayed had actually stayed there overnight. The welcome light was great but could not be switched off, it had to be unplugged. The motion activated lights in the bathroom were beautiful but had to be unpluged to keep from waking someone sleeping while the other went to the bathroom in the middle of the night. For seniors, there were no handrails in shower or bathroom anywhere, the bathroom door was stiff and required a body motion hard on the back. It was over A/Ced in the OK summer-even with the AC off and the heat supposedly on it would not go above 73. We had to switch rooms once because we couldn’t open the shower door. 20 and 30 somethings could but we couldn’t.
It was very beautiful. The Vault bar was great.

United StatesA Truly Unforgettable Anniversary Experience This past Saturday evening, my wife and I celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place than The National Hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. The valet who greeted us at our truck was incredibly polite and friendly, setting the tone for what would be a perfect evening. At check-in, the receptionist warmly congratulated us on our anniversary, and when we arrived at our room, we were delighted to find it beautifully prepared. A thoughtful handwritten note and a complimentary plate of chocolate-covered strawberries were waiting for us—a truly sweet and personal touch. Later that evening, we had dinner at Stock & Bond, conveniently located in the same building. From the moment we walked in, we were again congratulated by both the hostess and our wonderful waitress, Brooklyn. The ambiance was romantic and elegant—just what we were hoping for. The food was phenomenal, the drinks were top-notch, and Brooklyn made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. To top off the evening, just before we left, we were surprised with a complimentary anniversary cake. A manager came over to personally congratulate us and let us know it was a gift from the house. It was such a generous and memorable gesture. Brooklyn’s service was outstanding, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. My wife and I have decided to make this a yearly tradition, and we’re already looking forward to returning and trying more of the hotel’s restaurants. All in all, this was the best hotel and restaurant experience we’ve ever had. The service, attention to detail, and warm hospitality were truly world-class. Thank you to everyone at The National Hotel and Stock & Bond for making our 33rd anniversary unforgettable.

United StatesLoved it.
This is by far my favorite hotel I have ever stayed in. If you are a history and/or architecture buff, plan a stay!!!! The rooms are comfortable. The underground access to walk on a rainy day was a pleasant surprise. The shops were fun to look in. And of course the Vault bar was such a special place!

United StatesLack of rooms with views.
It is a “feast for the eyes”, beautifully restored art deco building with tasteful but comfortable appointments. The rooms are nice but lacking pleasant views. The bedding and linens were all quality as were toiletries. And the attentiveness of the staff was five star. Any issues we had were promptly addressed and courtesy follow up given. All staff we encountered were upbeat, pleasant and actually helpful. We had gathered from various locales to celebrate the 100th birthday of a family member. And while the celebration was held at another location, we had numerous excellent meals at Teller’s restaurant and, the staff always cheerfully and expertly seated and served our large party. The only general complaint among our group was the temperature in the hotel and restaurants was unpleasantly cold.

United StatesThis property blew it out of the park. It’s at the level of a property one would find in New York City. It’s an exceptional property . The property has kept the original design of the building that used to be a bank from 1931-1986.

United StatesThe view from our room window was directly into the parking garage, so that was a bummer. The bar was closed every time we tried to go. The only parking available is a public parking garage and we were coming and going throughout the weekend so we often maxed out the time and had to pay multiple times a day. Would be nice is hotel guests got a parking pass.
The Hotel itself is beautiful. The room was great, and breakfast was delicious. Location is perfect to walk around downtown, or slide over to Bricktown, and is a short ride from the airport. We had drinks and apps at the steakhouse, and it was nice but pricey.
