Only negative thing was no air conditioning. It was very hot and congested in the room.

We loved the comfort of the king-sized bed, the power of the shower, the quietness of the room and the little extras that our hosts provided. We enjoyed playing ball with their dog, Hudson too.

there was no closet or shelves to put clothes. shower water pressure was way to strong and it could not be adjusted. and there was only 2 towels for a 3 day stay.

I really enjoyed the check in system very straight forward. Also enjoyed how private the room was, plus the balcony was awesome. Had a great time drinking coffee and reading out there. I also was very happy with how comfy the bed was too. 10/10 would stay again if I’m ever in Santa Cruz

The bed was a little too soft for me. The water pressure in the shower was like a fire hose. I like a lot water pressure,but this was at a whole new level.

All was very nice. A welcome little enhancement would be to have a few hangers or hooks for jackets and such.

Cozy, well appointed studio, with large comfortable terrace. Nice residential neighborhood. Responsive helpful hosts. When we’re next in Santa Cruz, we’d like to stay here again.

The view here is spectacular! The private patio deck is an exceptional area for picnics and sunbathing. It overlooks trees and makes you feel lifted over ther valley. The host, Jono, was very accommodating with our special request and made my mom's Mother's Day celebration very special. We hiked in the nearby Henry Cowell State Park, which has majestic redwoods over 1,000 years old. 100% worth a visit!

Entrance along driveway and garage could have been more inviting. No place to hang up full sized garments (perhaps adding a hook in the bathroom?) nor drawers to unpack, so you must live out of suitcase. Spots on carpet.

The Terrace!!! It is larger than the whole studio with a lovely hilltop view and comfortable seating. Very nice linens on bed. High flow shower. Very accommodating hosts. Easy keypad access.

The property needs some cleaning, esp the backyard/ terrace.. lots of dirt and spiderweb. Also the cottage is a bit smaller than it looks like on the pics, the neighborhood area is kinda dead

I did not find anything to dislike.

The location was great for me, because it was out of the hustle and bustle of being downtown. It was peaceful and quiet. The door has an electronic keypad for entry which was very conveniently set up before arrival. The room is spacious and bright and well decorated.

See above for what was not good. It is still not resolved by booking.com.

Getting in was easy but unfortunately it was not cleaned between guests and we had to find another place at the last minute. Booking.com canceled the reservation and claimed they would give 25€ towards another place but that is pretty puny in light of the inconvenience and they have not answered any messages about actually providing that credit or addressing my concern that it’s not adequate after 5 days thought they claim 24hour turnaround on messages.

The room is an extension of the garage, that's fine, but it's not clear in the listing and we would not have booked if we knew. There is a portable electric radiator to heat the room, but due to the poor insulation it got very cold over night. The bathroom looks like in a capsule hotel, the shower head is holding on for dear life, looks like it might fall out of the wall at any moment. There were cobwebs in the room. While a coffee machine was provided, the milk was rancid and clumpy.

The location was good, the area was quiet.

Admittedly, my fault for not checking email while I was traveling........ we were a little confused about where to enter. Then, I thought the pin for entrance was the pin on my Booking.com app....I read my email and found the actual code, all in the rain.

Loved the view and the patio! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable! Exactly what I expected from the photos.
