Reception was not particularly friendly when when checking in , however reception who checked us out was exceptionally friendly

The hotel sprawls and can be challenging to navigate.

Doyle’s Irish Pub on the property — the manager did an extraordinary job helping us host a family reunion. She and her team were friendly, professional and attentive.

Beautiful grounds and facilities. Enjoyed 5 Steakhouse and the Wine Grotto. Everything was immaculately maintained.

No one was at the front desk to check us in. Pub’s service was under par. When we went to check out again no one was at the desk.

The floors are beautiful throughout but can be slippery.

There is a lot of history here and people should take time to stroll the gardens and definitely go through the chapel if you can.

The lack of an Airport shuttle.

Grounds were amazing. Layout of the campus created intriguing vignettes as i wandered. The corridors of the common areas were like walking through a museum - canvas art, sculptures, blown glass, lighting etc. were all so exquisite! Loved the outdoor garden areas. Rooms were comfortable - right down to the room climate/temperature/humidity control. Bathroom was clean, lighting was well designed. The furniture was solid and substantial. The entry door on the room was secure and operated flawlessly. Just a great experience.

We had a wonderful stay at St. Johns Resort and would highly recommend staying at this exceptional and gorgeous place! The food at the resort was excellent -- we ate dinner the night of our stay, and breakfast the morning after. The service was wonderful, and I would absolutely come back here.

We had stayed for 2 days, so the iron board and iron were not very good in our room. It's not a deal breaker in any way.

The hotel was beautiful and the stay was amazing. The grounds are well taken care of and are a perfect getaway for an anniversary. The staff are very helpful.

Everything from start to finish was delightful and amazing. From the ambience, to the staff, especially Joanna, Val, and Lisa. The grounds are immaculate, the interior is its own art exhibit. The rooms are comfortable, and tranquil, with the most comfortable beds. The hot tub, pool, and fitness center are as pictured, and sitting in the hot tub was very relaxing. Dinner at The Five was wonderful, from the 3 beautiful options for dinning areas to the fantastic staff (Lindsay & Mary), to the food itself. Steaks cut as smoothly as butter, and paired with the homemade Mac &cheese was the most amazing burst of flavor. The tower of chocolate cake was insanely delicious. We will be back!

The hot tub could have been warmer.

From the minute we walked in the door, we were greeted with excellence! Everyone working was kind, helpful and cheerful, the facilities are the best. Everything was new and immaculate. We were able to walk and ride bikes that were provided to really enjoy the outdoors and the property which included flowers, waterfalls, fountains. We dined at 2 of the 3 restaurants and the surroundings, staff and menu options were superb. We swam and enjoyed that. We really hope to have a reason to return!

Stayed for a wedding! Breakfast delivered to the room was such an amazing perk! But the breakfast from restaurant was very small and plenty over priced for what is served. I don't mind paying the money in such a nice place, I just expect nice things in return. Otherwise, great experience. Would absolutely stay again without hesitation. I will skip breakfast however.
